I use this on a wooden support pole in my carport and it works great. Easy to use, very tough, and grips wood well. Doesn’t slip when I use it Read more
Works well - certainly more versatile than the small anchor. Would prefer a medium sized one - this I would describe as extra large. Read more
The dimensions are not evident from the photo and description. The strap is 43 inches in total length and 1 3/4 inches in width. The pockets at each end, the doubled-over part, are about 7 1/2 inches long and are lined with a softer material than the nylon webbing, so unprotected bands without previous mid-point wear shouldn't be at great risk for breakage -- I don't know yet how the pockets will wear in. With those dimensions, it loops well around objects up to abut 36 inches in circumference (say, 12 inches in diameter) with some freeplay left, and can pass resistance bands with handles attached easily through the pockets. Closing one pocket behind a door leaves about 30 of tail, including a pocket, on the workout side. (The "missing" length is the amount attributable to the door depth and the sew-over making the pocket.) The strap is, as described, doubled-over nylon for its whole length, so should resist abrasion from the anchor objects, certainly long enough to make the purchase worthwhile. Obviously, it's going to look ugly after looping around the hundredth pine tree, but I'll accept that. From all indications the product fits the bill -- the real value is all in bringing my workout easily and safely outdoors. Read more
I've been taking my workouts outside to a local running track since a friend of mine wants to get in shape. The small anywhere anchor worked well for a bit, but it was limited in what I could wrap it around. This large anchor allowed us to continue our exercises as we were able to wrap it around bleacher rails and football posts. Very versatile and useful for outdoor workouts. Read more
Have used is about a dozen times. I attach it to a 10-12 inch thick palm tree, but don’t leave it outdoors. To soon to comment on durability, but the way it is built, I would be surprised if it didn’t last years. You can attach exercise cables with clips to the metal ring, or thread the elastic band through the wide loop to protect the band. The loop that you thread the anchor though to attach to a fixed object, is big enough to leave several clipped bands and attached hand holds to to avoid disconnecting them from the anchor. Would love to have a permanent anchor attached to a wall, but this band prevents having to drill into the wall. Read more
Strong & quick attachment to any sturdy support, eg. pole, tree limb, fence, etc. for outdoor or indoor workouts. Read more
You will need this if you purchase a Bodylastic fitness band set. This anchor is very robust and holds the bands securely. I fasten it to the base of my home gym weight stack machine and it works really well. The door thing is not the best - this is a lot safer. I was disappointed to find out the complete set I purchased did not include this item as a base item but did include the door anchor. Should be just the opposite or make this anywhere anchor part of the complete set. I had to do some research on the anchors to find out which one to order since there is a smaller version but I am not sure why you would buy it? The large anchor covers just about anything but a large tree. Well made product. Read more
