Love these boots. We have a small chicken coop and several bird feeders and it’s difficult to take care of them in the winter without being dressed appropriately. And being able to slip the boots on and off is important as well. I’ve had a pair of Sorel Joan of Arc winter boots for the past 13 years. The last 5 have had my feet feeling bitter cold when out in the snow and on the ice in the winter fishing. I’ve been looking the past 3-4 years for new boots that would be comfortable and warm and I’ve finally found it!! I sized up 2 sizes so they’re easy to slide on and off as even one size up felt tight on the top of my foot/ankle. With socks they’re the perfect fit. I trekked through a foot of snow for an hour and a half without any sense of chill. I often throw them on without any socks and even in the single digits my feet stay warm. These boots are so warm that when I go from my mountain conditions into the city, I have to bring a pair of shoes to change into! That’s deeply reassuring after getting frostnip on my feet last year. Only four stars because the traction on the bottom of these boots is not as good as some of the other winter boots for women from Boggs. Really wanted that super good traction, but the other wide calf winter boot from Bogs has soft neoprene begins the heel and collapses down onto my heel with every step. Still, these are great boots. I have returned these boots since they didn't fit. They received the return on Feb 6, but my refund was originally suppose to happen by Feb 22 and has been moved to Feb 25!! This is unacceptable. you have the product, please give me my money back!!! Read more

I live in North Dakota where it gets -30 on a daily basis in the winters. Wearing normal socks these keep my feet warm and cozy. Read more

These run VERY SMALL. I normally wear a 9.5 or 10. Ordered the 10 and could barely squeeze my foot into the boot wearing thin socks. I wanted to wear these with thicker winter socks. They looked like good quality boots, but please be aware that they run VERY small. Unfortunately I won’t be re-ordering because I cannot even guess what my “size” would be based on how far off my TRUE size was. Read more
