Tight in the calf.

I first went to a local store and tried out the "Whiteout" model for size before ordering these to confirm I wanted a 9, since I normally wear 9.5 or 10. That was fine and the calf on that model was roomy. It turns out Classic II is not so roomy in the calf. I'm going to need knee high stockings, not my Sockwell merino knee socks. I guess they'll keep out water! Edit. When I put on the left boot, it turned out that was really uncomfortable. I don't know if it was made tighter, or that leg is wider -- I'm very "right" -handed, footed, etc., so I think this is unlikely. I'm returning to get an adjustable calf. Read more
