This lamp is so cute. I assembled it very easily, and placed it in a dark corner of my living room. I love that it came with the remote control with so many nice functions. This floor lamp is a perfect addition to our family room. Easy to assemble, great quality! Loved the choice of lampshade color, gray was perfect for our color scheme. The media could not be loaded. This lamp is mostly good and will serve the purpose we need it to as we remodel a house. It comes ready to assemble and is well packaged. Pluses: the base is well-weighted which is helpful; the floor button switch is nice unless you need this to go in a corner or behind a couch or chair; the remote is pretty cool in that you can change the quality of light for your preferences. (My video doesn’t show those changes that well but enough to give you an idea of how it works.); comes with a light bulb and remote batteries. Cons: be patient screwing the pole pieces together. Once assembled, it’s fine but it would be very easy to get things crooked and strip the threads; I have never had to make my own lampshade before - the clips are just glued on so be sure you have that top ring the right direction (indent down) because I didn’t and popped a clip off when correcting my mistake; the fabric edges of the shade need loose threads trimmed; if the pole is hard to get together, be sure to gently but firmly pull the cord out at the bottom to take up the excess. The lamp started working 13 months after purchase. I have tried to call the company and there is no number. I tried to send an email, but it is not an email address that is working. I am hopeful they will respond to my Internet inquiry, but in the meantime, the lamp is worthless and cheap. I'm really hoping they respond and I'm happy to change my review if they can help me figure out how this can work again. The remote does not work, and the lamp bulb flickers all the time. And of course, I've tried to plug it in somewhere else, used new lightbulbs, new batteries, etc. Nothing works. Would love a response. Read more
