The battery lasts a long time, the surface is easy to clean, and it is compact. Bluetooth works well, as well as the direct jack. It's a little annoying how it always tells me the battery life when I turn it on, but I suppose that's good for some people. I usually use it at home, so it's easy enough to find a plug when I need it. It lasts for a good while after you get the low battery please charge now message so you don't need to go running for the cord right away. I have the black one, I like it more than the colorful ones made for millennials and children...It's a nice silicone finish, so if I get stuff on it while baking or whatever it wipes right off. The sound quality isn't quite as good as my larger bose sound wave, but it's much better than other little portable speakers! It fills up the room well, and can get plenty loud enough for me. This thing is fantastic! Superb sound from a little BOSE speaker. Battery life isn’t super long but I never timed it. It lasts at least 2 hours. It’s perfect for around the house. Perfect for the deck or tinkering in the garage. I bring it room to room if I’m listing to Audible and cleaning. Music sounds decent, way better than similar sized speakers for $20-$75. I bought it on Prime Day and I wish I had bought a couple more. I think I only paid $80. I have had it for a few months and no issues. Sound is crisp and clear and even he’s decent base (not hardcore thumping but solid) when playing music. I was actually watching football (Bears won!) on my phone the other day and used the speaker and it sounded like I had a home theater on (just set it up across the room facing you). I am a musician/songwriter/producer with a very discerning ear, and I was stunningly surprised by the sound of this little gem ... the bass response was the very first thing I heard, and I really didn't "hear" it, I FELT it - the volume was way down (just out of the box) and one of my cats looked very concerned as she hates thunder and thought that's what is WAS, (as did I) ... as I slowly turned it up the other frequencies kicked in and the clarity and sound quality clearly was just as impressive. The pairing is quick and seamless, the controls very user-friendly, and the volume it reaches without sacrificing quality is beyond surprising for such a size ... I swore I'd never spend a lot on bluetooth speakers, (as I own a recording studio and have a great stereo system there and in my house), so I got one of these at a bit over a Franklin, and within twenty minutes of listening to the Bose Soundlink Color II, I bought ANOTHER, as they can be used in tandem and in true STEREO. The sound of both is really superb, and comparable to my very expensive studio near-field monitors. I rarely take the time to write reviews for Amazon, (though I buy almost everything here), but I just HAD to share the joy and pleasure of these little bargains! Great sound quality and good volume from a small speaker. First time turning it on, it wasn’t very loud at all and I thought I would wind up returning it. After charging all night, I tried again and the max volume was way higher. Battery life is shorter than listed, but takes a charge pretty quickly. Haven’t pushed testing the water resistance, but works well in the bathroom during showers and no concerns touching it with wet hands. Easily pairs with everything and I love that it automatically pairs with my iPhone when I turn the speaker on. More expensive than other small, waterproof speakers I’ve tried but much better quality. It sounds great, and has good volume. I listen to everything but jazz pretty much and it all sounds good on this speaker. It's a nice size , it has lasted years at this point and I just dont have any negative opinions of the product. I paid 130$-ish for it. At one point it stopped working, I googled what it was doing and how to fix it. if I remember correctly it was just pushing buttons in some random order. I remember being super mad it wasn't working , then quickly finding a solution. I'd buy it again for sure. I'm not a fan of the tiny speakers, or those weird sausage shaped ones. They just dont sound as good as this one. I probably tried 10 others before biting the bullet and buying this one. Now I know I should have just started with this one. Also I love the punk/ coral color of it. Its bright and happy and it stands out . I know that seems like a stupid thing to mention. but it being bright helps me not forget it places lol. Read more
