I’m really impressed with these Two-Way Humidity Control Packs. They’re exactly what I needed to keep my smaller items in ideal condition while stored in my travel cases. Each pack is perfectly sized for up to 5 items, and the Size 8 format fits just right in compact, non-plastic storage setups. Whether I’m storing cigars, herbs, or other moisture-sensitive goods, these packs deliver consistent results. One of the standout features is the resealable bag they come in—it’s a thoughtful touch that keeps unused packs fresh and ready for future use. I’ve had issues in the past with similar products drying out too quickly once the packaging is opened, but not with these. It’s clear the manufacturer put effort into both the product and its packaging. What I love most is the two-way humidity control. These packs don’t just absorb excess moisture—they also release humidity as needed, helping maintain a stable environment over time. That kind of balance is crucial when preserving the quality of what I’m storing. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in freshness and consistency compared to when I wasn’t using them. They’re super easy to use—just place one in the case, close it up, and forget about it. No maintenance, no guesswork, and no mess. I’ve used them during travel and at home, and they’ve performed equally well in both settings. Also, the packs are discreet and don’t give off any odors, which is another plus. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality solution for anyone looking to preserve their small, sensitive items. I’ll definitely be ordering more and keeping them stocked. Highly recommend for anyone serious about storage and humidity control! Read more

I roll my own cigarettes with a '2 roller & belt' type rolling machine. Usually with Drum brand. Sometimes I'll try a different brand. I found that no matter where I buy my RYO (Roll Your Own) tobacco it is always WAY TOO dry! Doesn't matter if I buy it in the large tin or the small pouch. From a chain retailer or dedicated tobacco shop or over the internet - still too dry every time. I've tried adding fruit slices (chance of introducing mold and doesn't add much moisture), sprinkling water (way too inaccurate and creates soggy spots), refillable water absorbing devices (again too inaccurate and you have to constantly refill them). The 'gel type' humidifiers are too big to fit in the tin and probably work better in a cigar humidor (and, again, you have to refill them). All of these do not tell you how much moisture is in the container. I prefer to just add the humidifier (regardless of type) to the tin that the tobacco comes in. I also do not want the added space and maintenace required by keeping a hygrometer in the tin nor do I see the need to remove the tobacco and put it into a regular humidor that is made for cigars. The Boveda pouches have answered ALL of my desires. They come in varied % values and, as reference by other reviews, will keep the moisture level very close to their stated level in a well sealed container. I prefer the 72% value. My cigarettes roll much easier, burn slower, and taste much better than without the Boveda pouch or with any other method I've tried. And all I have to do is throw the pouch in the tin - no maintenance or worry - other than replacing the pouch about every 6 to eight weeks. The individual pouches come in an air-tight plastic bag and can be bought several at a time without worry that they will lose any quality over several months (maybe years?). Easy to tell when to replace it as it does have less liquid in the pouch over time. You don't even have to worry if you leave an almost empty pouch in the tin when you add a new one. Somehow, the pouches only allow their stated moisture % value to fill whatever container you put them in. You could add two new 72% pouches to a tin and it will keep it just as moist as one pouch. I've been using Boveda in my RYO tobacco tins for about a year now and strongly recommend them to any other RYO cigarette makers! For the price, ease of use and quality they provide, I really don't think there is a better solution out there to keep cigarette tobacco at your desired moisture level. One final note, the best prices I have found for Boveda is right here on Amazon.com. The few retailers I've come across who carry them want about twice as much as the prices you'll find here. Even without Amazon Prime, if you buy a three pack or more and pay shipping, it will still be less expensive than any retail shop I've come across. Read more
