This is a lightweight cardigan sweater. The material is soft and on the thinner side so if you're looking for warmth choose your base layer carefully. The pattern is very cute and the color is vibrant. This sweater gets a lot of compliments because of how cheerful it presents. It fits nice and is roomy where it should be. It seems to be made well. I received 3 compliments the first day I wore this sweater! I paired it with cream barrel leg cargo jeans, and buttoned it up so my cream tank wasn't really showing, and it was such a cute outfit. I'm 34C, 5'5" and 140lbs, ordered the small. It's plenty baggy, I have a short torso so didn't want it to be too long. I could have done a large and styled it differently but for my purposes the small works great. The background color of the bows is a cream, I wish it was white but the cream is light. It's nice and thick, soft, and feel like a quality sweater. My fave thing about it is how the bows line up properly when you button it up! Sleeve length was fine on my average sized frame, and I do think it'll pill after a while, but it's such a nice thick weave I think it'll be easy to use a pill shaver and keep it in good shape. The bright red color pops beautifully, and it instantly puts me in a cheerful mood. I was originally worried it would be more of an orange red but it is not, it is a great candy apple red... the best shade of red. The sweater itself is very soft, warm, and comfortable to wear. It feels cozy without being heavy, making it a great layering piece for chilly weather. BUT heavy enough to only need a tank or cami underneath. The crew neck and long sleeves give it a classic cardigan shape, but the playful bow pattern makes it stand out in the best way. It’s darling enough to pair with jeans for a casual day or even layer over a dress for something a little more dressed up (leather leggings anyone???). One note: this cardigan does run a bit large, so I’d definitely recommend sizing down if you want a more fitted look. I’m even considering taking mine to the tailor to get it brought in just a little, because it’s such a cute piece I want it to fit perfectly.
