I normally use a styling brush to dry my hair but wanted a small hair dryer that would work better for travel and it could be used by the whole family. This hair dryer checks off those buttons as it is smaller than most hair dryers, lightweight, and the attachment went on easily since it was magnetic. I would say that it's about as loud as other hair dryers out there. There are 3 modes of heat, which are easily chosen by a button, and a colored light will indicate which heat mode you are using. The hot mode isn't really that hot, which is probably why my hair takes longer to dry than using my old hair dryer or styling brush. The fluctuating between hot/cold is supposed to create more shine but I didn't notice any difference in my hair. I do like the shape (which emulates a Dyson) but the handle is kind of large for those with smaller hands so not as versatile for multiple users. At $38, it's reasonably priced for what it does. I am comparing this to my Dyson hairdryer. I am used to using that type of a hairdryer, so the shape of this hairdryer is great for me. If you’re used to using an old-school hairdryer with a shorter handle and a longer nozzle, it may take some getting used to. I find that this hairdryer is an awesome hairdryer! It dries my hair fast, it has great heat and power options, and apparently it cycles through hot and cold, which I guess is supposed to be better for your hair. I don’t notice a difference in the temperature when I’m drying my hair with this, so if it’s happening, I’m not noticing it. What I do notice is that my hair feels extremely soft and looks shiny after I use this hairdryer. My hair feels a little bit more silky after using this hairdryer versus using my Dyson. I say that my Dyson gives my hair a squeaky clean feeling, which is almost borderline on dry for some people. I like the way the Dyson makes my hair feel, but I really do appreciate the way that this dryer makes my hair feel and look as well! This hairdryer is lightweight, and it does have a magnetic attachment for the concentrator. The magnet is not as strong as my Dyson, but it works, just don’t go knocking it into a wall or your hairbrush or it might come flying off a little bit more easier than the Dyson. I think this thing is going be perfect for me for travel. It’s better than a hotel hairdryer, but it’s affordable enough that I don’t worry about taking it with me like I do my Dyson. I will also say that if I didn’t have a Dyson to compare this to, I am so pleased with this hairdryer that I don’t think I would even bother getting a Dyson! How long will it last? Is it made as well as the Dyson is? Only time will tell, but I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a new hairdryer that doesn’t want to spend the big bucks that a Dyson, T3, Shark, etc. costs. I liked the nozzle a lot on this one. While other's have similar, I found this one way more narrow than others, and I much preferred how this worked on places like my bangs to get that sweep I need. The colors on it are really pleasing to look at, none of the other's I've had to this, and it's pretty small too, which Is nice to not get my hair caught in it all the time. Has basic buttons with 3 different heat settings and such on the handle, good wattage, and you can take off the nozzle if you wish. Read more
