I usually have two sets of food handling gloves -- I have the tight durable vinyl kind for when I'm going to be, say, slicing raw poultry for a bit. But sometimes I am gonna be in a scenario where I am gonna be running through a whole bunch of gloves like tissue paper in a quick period of time -- say, if you're just gonna season some raw meat real quick or if you're vacuum sealing meat you just got at the store, etc etc. That's what THESE gloves are for. They're not super durable but don't need to be. You get 500 of these suckers and you can use them real quick and not feel guilty about going through them like tissue paper as if you were going through the more expensive high quality ones. So I say keep a store of these for moments when you know you're gonna blow through a bunch of gloves in quick succession, and then keep a stash of the higher quality tighter-fitting ones for a more long term task. We used these for our school's PTA concession stand and food prep, and they were exactly what we needed. With 500 in the box, they are an excellent value for a large event. They are loose-fitting, which makes them incredibly easy to slip on and off quickly between tasks which is a huge plus when you are rushing to serve students. I’ve bought these gloves about 6 times over the past year or so, and I’ve found that their reliability varies from batch to batch. Five of the six times I bought these, I had no complaints and they functioned as I expected. However, in my 6th order, there was a batch in which every other glove had the tip of the thumb cut off. So basically, 50 of the 100 gloves in the pack were useless. I found that out the hard way when I used a pair of these gloves to handle raw fish, and I ended up with stinky fish juice all over one thumb/hand. The manufacturer of these gloves needs to improve its quality control. Otherwise, these gloves are okay for basic food handling, with some limitations. They’re designed to fit pretty loosely on your hands, so they’re not useful for tasks requiring manual dexterity, like paring vegetables (with sharp kitchen tools!). Also, if you’re wearing these gloves and you have to pull, pry or twist something open with even a small amount of force, these gloves will tear. Grade: C- Read more

While the first package of these that I received was ripped and I am returning due to contamination. But this second package did have 5 individual packs ( whereas I only got 4 in the first and thought that was normal until reading the reviews I read that stated 5 were actually supposed to be included ) and while I am not going to count them I am assuming that they have 100 per pack. But I did let them set out for 3 days and then wore a pair to use in a lavender scent cleaner and I have to say, that I am highly impressed. They did not leak and my hands were totally dry upon removing the gloves. I have actually ordered another set before they are gone. I am trying to prepare for the Fall and the predicted Covid 19 outbreak. Not that it has left. Arkansas is only in phase 1 of reopening and we are having daily records of cases, deaths, and hospitalizations. I personally do not feel that we were prepared to open bars, clubs, etc. But who am I to say? Don't get me started. Lol. Now back to these gloves, I feel confident that they are great for pumping gas, grocery shopping, touching ATM machines, etc. as far as protection goes. Just make certain that you remove them properly inside out and don't touch the outside when removing them. They are a very inexpensive glove for protection. I’ve purchased quite a few of these disposable gloves from different suppliers, and honestly—they’re all basically the same. They fit the same, they pull out of the box the same, and they’re made for exactly what they are: single use. Put them on, use them, toss them. Simple. For those saying they can’t be reused—well, they’re disposable gloves. If you need something you can reuse, look into vinyl gloves. Those can be worn multiple times without an issue. Complaints about two or three gloves coming out of the box at once, or the box being packed tight? That’s just part of using disposables. Deal with it. Complaints about ripping? That usually means you just need the next size up—try XL. Complaints about them not being waterproof? Unless you’re working with harsh chemicals, they’ll do the job just fine. These gloves are exactly what they should be. Handling raw chicken? Perfect. Cleaning up after the cat? Done. I use them nearly every day for quick and easy protection. Bottom line: these gloves work as intended. If you’ve got issues with shipping or customer service, that belongs in seller feedback—not in a product review. Read more
