Love this product and company. Use it to polish up my knives, silverware and jewelry. It also cleans some surfaces and makes things look new and improved. Expect to put some elbow grease in if you expect that mirror finish. Read more

Works very well for my vintage purses with brass hardware that had green on it. Smells awful though, cleans metal up really well to a perfect shine. It's very easy to use Read more

I found an old copper teapot at a thrift store that was terribly tarnished! I’d never cleaned copper before, but I knew I could try. I ordered Brasso Multi-Purpose Metal Polish, and it arrived the next day. With a little elbow grease, I started seeing real progress. While cleaning the bottom, I noticed it was stamped “Made in England” with a patent number—turns out it’s from around 1901! What a great find, and this product really helped bring it back to life. The polish is effective, safe to use, in a leak proof bottle and gives a nice shine. That said, even with Brasso, cleaning a badly tarnished item takes time and effort, but the results are worth it. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone restoring copper pieces. Read more

Polished lots of brass belt buckles with this stuff. Still works on all metals - you just supply the elbow grease. Read more

Good old Brasso, what would we do without you? My dad used this in the Navy in the 1960s to polish his hardware (and ship railings!) and I still use it to polish his old Navy belt buckle and everything else in my house that's brass, copper, or silver. It's always effective, it's always easy to use, and it doesn't make any dangerous fumes. Can use it with an old rag, or on a Dremel pad, it's versatile stuff. Read more

Works instantly! See attached pictures for proof---the Pelican was clearly in the worst shape, the rest were fairly clean already, but WOW, what a difference it made in the tarnished piece! I think the people saying this stuff doesn't work are putting it on already pretty clean pieces. I used an old cloth I didn't mind tossing to polish these. The only negative is the odor is very strong, I would recommend a mask and gloves when using this product. It really dried my hands out and gave me a mild headache. Read more
