After years of nicking and irritating his face, I purchased the Braun 9 Series electric razor and charger/electronic cleaner. This is BY FAR the best shave option he has ever used! I wish I had known about this when my father was living - my father's razor pulled on whiskers and was extremely painful. This IS NOT! After each shave the electric razor is set, head down into the unit, to charge and clean. The solution is pleasant smelling, is circulated through the head of the razor for cleaning, and lubes the blades and movable parts all at the same time. It cleans very well.
