Works so well. It's great. So well that I bought my son one as well. I believe he feels the same way. Satisfied and so thankful for no more nicks and cuts, breaking out or getting red rashes. Works wet or dry. And once finished just put it in it's place and ii cleans itself and charges at the same time. Read more
Overall it does deliver a comfortable and close shave, especially on regular beard growth. The 3 AquaFlex blades adapt to facial contours well, and the SkinGentle foil helps minimize irritation even when tackling a few days of stubble. The built-in precision trimmer is also handy for shaping lines and trimming longer hairs, and the shaver’s waterproof design lets me use it wet or dry, which is convenient. My first unit arrived with a defective foil (a hole) in it, so I had to request a replacement before I could even use it. That experience was frustrating. Once I had a working unit, the shave quality was solid and cleaning was easy with the waterproof construction. For its price point this Braun razor performs well when things go right. Just be sure to inspect the foil immediately when unboxing. Read more
Very good shaver. Get close shaves and keeps a charge for a long time. Easy to clean and maintain Read more
After a three-day beard growth, this razor does not cut it pulls. After using is on one side of my face, I put it down and went back to a blade razor for a close shave. For the price, I expected a lot more of this razor than what I got which was a horrible shave. I do not recommend this razor unless you have peach fuzz and are about 12 years old. Otherwise, it is going to pull the hair instead of cutting it. Very poor quality! Read more

My initial impression: The product arrived in good condition. All components were contained in the box and the shaver charged within a couple of hours. Following are subsequent observations: Clean and Charge Center: This is a 10" tall device with a 5" diameter round base. The height extends to 11" when opened for insertion of the cleaning solution cartridge. When plugged into an electrical outlet the shaver locks into it for charging and cleaning. The first ingredient in the cleaning solution is alcohol and the label warns that it is highly flammable. I have had many shavers over years, none that included this type of additional device. My opinion is that it is optional. It takes up a lot of space and the power cord can be inserted directly into the shaver if you would prefer not to use the Clean and Charge Center. The shaver head (blades) can be rinsed under a faucet without removing it from the shaver body. Shaver Head: Overall a quality made device that cuts closely and smoothly and easily cleans up with water. It would be ideal for a clean shaving (no beard) user. As a bearded user, I feel that it is not ideal. The blade head shape does not allow the user to see up close to the edge of the blades so shaving around the perimeter of a beard and particularly around the edge of a mustache is not easy. There is a Precision Trimmer head that trades places with the shaver head and will allow for cutting even lines, such as the bottom edge of a side burn, but does not shave as closely as the blade head and, similar to the blade head, the casement is difficult to see around for up close detailed trimming. Shaver: Powered by a Lithium Ion battery the motor runs smoothly and holds a charge for a very long time. A small down side to this is that when traveling by air it will need to be packed in a carry-on bag because at present, items with lithium ion batteries are not allowed in checked baggage. My initial impression is that the shaver is a high quality device and should hold up for a number of years. Instructions: These are detailed illustrative drawings with very little written text, good for use by users in many countries. However, the arrows, smiley faces, frown faces, and exclamation points in place of text can be a bit confusing. the instructions also offer a scan code but it just takes me to the manufacturers website and I was not able to find more specific instructions in text form. While this is a quality device, I still prefer a three-head rotary style shaver because 1. They are easier to maneuver around the contours of my face and 2. The allow me to accurately shave up close to the edges of bearded areas. Price wise, this set is priced higher than the competition, probably due to the addition of the Clean and Charge Center. I’ve been using the Braun Series 5 for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly been one of the most dependable electric razors I’ve owned. What stood out to me right away was how comfortable the shave feels. It cuts cleanly without pulling at the hair, and it handles the contours of my face really well, especially around the jawline and neck where other razors usually struggle. The Clean & Charge station is something I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much. Being able to drop the razor in and have it cleaned and ready for the next shave makes the whole routine feel effortless. It’s a small feature, but it really adds to the overall experience. I also like that the razor feels solid and well built. The grip is comfortable, the battery lasts for several shaves, and the precision trimmer is useful for cleaning up edges and sideburns. Overall, it feels like a product that was designed with everyday use in mind. Reliable, easy to maintain, and consistently delivers a smooth shave. I’m really happy with it and can see it being part of my grooming routine for a long time. Read more
