I tried several other products on the market but nothing matches the ingredients used in the Brickell lip-balm. If you compare it to others on the market, other brands in the same price range are missing a LOT of the things Brickell has. It's all natural, protects against chapped lips, cracked lips, has a great scent to it, has added sunblock, has a tingle to it, and it's not something you buy just to throw it in a glove compartment for emergencies. You're gonna want it with you because it's that effective as a preventative lip-balm as well. It's not greasy or waxy, it's just right and it does everything you need. I love the flavor of this blend, it feels good on the lips and because it’s Brickell, I know it’s pure honest ingredients. Very good lip balm. My only complaint is that it’s a round tube like most lip balms so it tends to unwind in my pocket. They should consider making it flat. But all in all I give it a 10. Buy it! Read more

Overall it's a great lip balm. Tingles at first and then leaves a cool, soothing feeling afterwards. Smells great too! Love that it's all natural other than the sunscreen. It doesn't leave a shine on your lips at all. As far as moisturizing and healing, it's pretty good but I took one star away cause my lips are still a little dry. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks now and it has helped tremendously but hasn't cured my lips 100% but hopefully that will change. Read more

i love the brickell brand and most of their products are great. this chapstick however, leaves a layer of residue on your lips that is noticeable. if it weren’t for that it’d be a great product, hope they improve this soon! Read more

This is kind of TMI- but my husband was having crazy chapped lips as of late and it would hurt my lips to kiss his. I honestly don't know what caused his chapped lips, but I needed it to be fixed. I did some research and based on the reviews I chose Brickell's lip balm. My husband was not super into at first because he was scared there would be a shine and it would look like lip gloss. After some coaxing, he put some on, and let's just say, he is OBSESSED. Puts it on every morning (and he says that it is enough for the day), and says he now feels naked without it. Personally, I love that it has SPF on it because it is SO IMPORTANT to put SPF all over your skin as much as possible to protect from the damaging effects of the sun. Also love that it is not full of chemicals eithers- if you're really going to protect your skin (and how many times do we forget that our lips is a part of that process), why put a bunch of crap on it? Much better than the Rugged and Dapper lip balm(which I have used religiously for 3 months). This lip balm has no shine, smells like peppermint, even has SPF 15. However, the best part is that it doesn't flake like the Rugged and Dapper lip balm does. You can eat food and drink anything without the flake. Read more

The product itself is fine, review is based on the fact that I bought on the basis of the “no-shine” in the title. Pretty much false advertising. The product itself doesn’t even claim to be no shine, the Amazon title is just wrong and misleading. Just as much shine as any other lip balm so turned out to be a waste of money for me. Read more
