Bridgewater Candle Sweet Grace 32 oz Laundry Detergent Liquid Highly Scented Luxury Laundry Experience Deep Cleaning and Powerfully

This has been quite an exploration trying new things such as candle and bougie scented laundry detergents. I’ve learned a few things along the way. It doesn’t make me an expert. Just a person with yet another opinion, so take it as you will. We’ve used Persil for years but I’m sort of over the price hikes. If I’m spending that much I may as well spent a little more and get a bonus for creative scent layering. I may have found a permanent replacement here. I’ve already been really leaning towards the candle scents which include Bridgewater and I’ll include a photo of the others. Sweet Grace cleans purest with a scent that lasts through at least hand washings and will be in my top three. It’s concentrated making it a real value contender. I’ll be back to share how it fares in machines but man, this scent grew on me fast. Yes, it’s feminine and perfumey. Idc I love it so much! Snaps to Amazon and the packaging - it didn’t leak. Now I’ll say something I don’t normally say because even I think it’s odd writing it but for those who appreciate scent throws that inspire emotion, I have to say this Sweet Grace makes me feel safe in an uncertain world. Omg that’s so weird but true. It also makes me feel relaxed, peaceful and comforted. When’s the last time laundry scents did that? Ok old skool Gain. And here I thought only the smell of bacon, maple syrup and coffee brewing would entice my senses but nope I got it in a laundry detergent. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it and the fact that it actually cleans is impressive. It’s not overwhelming or overpowering either. At first after clothes air dried it was still a bit strong for my liking but that’s part of the draw. The fact that it did nothing to irritate my skin is also a huge factor and its clothing not soap residue on my body. I really hope sharing my experience helps. I am a REALLY scent-oriented person, and honestly, the art of fragrance is a hobby for me. I love to layer my scents, both in my skin/hair/perfume, but also in my clothing. I’ve been trying a number of scented detergents over the past year-ish without being thrilled with any one product… until now. This one is the winner BY FAR. Here are my pros & cons: PROS: -Smells AMAZING. The scent reminds my partner & I of our “fancy” Las Vegas honeymoon. 💖 -The dosing is forgiving. The instructions say to use 2 fl. oz. in a machine, but 1 fl. oz. ended up being plenty for a medium load of clothing. -The detergent works effectively in cold water. Some detergents can leave oily stains on clothing, bleed color from one item to another, or don’t dissolve well in cold water; not a problem here! -The scent ACTUALLY lasts! So many detergents smell amazing fresh out of the washing machine, but the scent disappears from your laundry once it has been dried. This is THE one “pro” that makes this detergent the winner for me. I have a zip up I wear every day, and 3-days post wash, it STILL smells as fresh as the day I took it out of the dryer. Cons: -More expensive per load than most detergents, but this is not a deciding factor for me personally. Shopping smaller businesses when I can, and paying “more” for an actually effective product, are priceless considerations in my life. -The smell can be “strong,” which can be kind of hit-or-miss for anyone who may have migraines triggered by scents. I have scent-triggered migraines and personally have had no problems so far, but I know there are folks who are even more sensitive, or our healthcare heroes who may work in scent-sensitive settings, that may appreciate the word of caution. :) Overall, I’d rate this detergent a 6 out of 5 stars if I could! If you love your laundry to have a long-lasting scent & don’t mind paying a little more for that luxury, this detergent is perfect for you. I was not sure what to expect with this product since it’s my first time buying and I usually like to smell products first, especially when buying them for the scent. It’s a bit too expensive for me to use on everyday laundry with a family of 5 but I really wanted something to put in my upholstery and carpet cleaner. I’m so over my house smelling like sports equipment this time of year. The consistency is great, not too thick or sudsy so it worked well for my experiment. The smell was very very strong at first. I had to open windows and my kids were asking why it smelled like cologne in the whole house. It was definitely a trust the process kind of thing. After washing furniture and carpets and rinsing them well, the smell mellowed out to a beautiful lingering lighter scent. I’m on day four now and the living spaces still smell amazing but not overpowering. I went from sport pad barnyard to compliments from two people on how my house smelled. I could cry happy tears. Unsure if it’s supposed to be used that way but it worked wonders and will absolutely be buying again. Read more

Out of all the laundry detergents I have tried, this ranks the highest. It does a great job cleaning your clothes. The smell is wonderful. Clean and fresh. I have more compliments on the smell of my clothes than any perfume I use. The scent lasts greater than a week. I would definitely recommend!! Worth the money.
