Only being 5'3", it is difficult for me to purchase pants online as many are too long. The short version of these pants is the perfect length! In addition, they are very comfortable. The pockets are a decent depth and I like the rich brown color. I will likely purchase additional colors. UPDATE: I did purchase these pants in grey. However, despite ordering the same size, they did not fit so I had to return them. The grey pants I received were also much darker than the shade of the picture of the grey pants. Read more

I bought these pants to wear on Elegant Night while on a cruise. Tired of wearing my usual black skirt. I wanted dressy and to be able to wear heals with them. I got the black 14P, I am 5'2" and 163 pounds. Amazon recommended I get 16P, but I have never wore size 16 before and was afraid if they were too big, I might not have time to exchange for a smaller size before having to leave for the cruise. So I stuck with the size 14 that I knew would fit based on other clothing I have that is that size. I am so glad I did, they fit great. The pants are smooth black, very nice fabric, with pockets, straight leg but not skinny leg at all, loose around the calves. Perfect for wearing a nice healed shoe. The pockets were sewn shut, on purpose, I took a very small pair of scissors and was able to easily cut the thread without harming the pant material. Elastic waste band is wide and smooth, could very easily wear a shirt tucked into these pants and would look nice. I am so glad that I got these pants. I am retired and don't dress up hardly at all any more, otherwise I would buy other colors because I love the fit and fabric. I would recommend these pants 100%. Read more
