Customers say

Customers find these pants to be well-made, comfortable, and professional-looking, with good washability and quick-drying properties. They appreciate the stretchiness and consider them a great value. The fit and fabric quality receive mixed feedback - while some say they fit nicely and have good material, others find them too big and the fabric too thin.

Fit well, comfortable, look nice for work

These are nice easy pants for work. They were a little long for me but I'm handy with a needle and thread so I was able to hem them to fit my 5'4" body. Easy to pull on and comfortable all day without wrinkling much. I bought two pairs, black and gray. The material feels a little stiff at first but they wash well with no shrinkage. They have some stretch but not obvious like knit pants that can look like yoga pants. These look nice with a cardigan or light jacket for the office. Read more

Best black pants ever!

I was hesitant to buy clothes online since nothing seems to fit properly. I have a closet full of black pants that I don't like for one reason or another. Then I found these! It's like they were made just for me. They are stretchy, but not so stretchy as to be baggy. They are quite comfortable and they fit me perfectly. They wash well in the washer, but I do not put them in the dryer. I hang them to dry, and I don't feel the need to iron them afterwards. I have had these for about 3 years, and they still fit and look like brand new. These are my go-to black pants, and I just wish they came in multiple colors! Read more

Gray slacks

Pants are very heavy material and too long. I will need to get them hemmed. Decent work pants. True to size except the length. Read more

Fits perfect and very comfortable

LOVE THESE PERFECT SLACKS!

Briggs is an old, established name in clothing. I purchased Briggs slacks when I was younger and thinner, but Briggs still makes well made slacks that fit perfectly and they make me look good!! The fabric is perfect! Not too heavy, not too lightweight, not bulky, very comfortable! They stretch and fit exactly as needed and hang well. Perfect slacks! I’m buying more! Read more

Love these!

These fit great and I love the look of them on me. These are straight leg so they're not skin tight and are professional looking. They were a little long so I had to hem them but otherwise they fit perfect. They're also very comfortable. They hardly wrinkle at all and are a great value for the price. Read more

Medium fit like XL.

Way too big. I got these in medium - they fit like an XL. I’m 5’2”/150. They were too big all over and waaaaaaay too long. Do not recommend if you have a more petit build. Read more

Synthetic fabric laundering issues

The fit and comfort is very good. However, the synthetic fabric (mostly rayon with nylon and a bit of spandex) is very stiff and makes a crunchy noise when you walk. They have been laundered twice (cool temperature and with other black items) and each time emerge with visible white streaks and patches all over the fabric, inside and out. None of the other black items in the laundry have any issues with the laundering, so am thinking it is the fabric. A damp washcloth and scrubbing helps a bit but still leaves a visible residue that looks like messy stains. Looking like that, they are not suitable to wear for work. Care instructions indicate machine wash cold with like items, which I have been doing, but I may try handwash next time and see if that makes a difference. Update: It may be the dryer sheet causing the streaks. No other items are impacted in this way, just these pants. Now I do not put them in the dryer at all. They emerge from the wash very wrinkly and dry that way too. Read more
