I gave it 4 stars because I could not get it to work with Google Assistant or Alexa. Set up was easy and pretty much the same as other smart devices. There is a small clicking sound when the outlet turns on and off but I kinda like it. Using the app works well with turning on and off so I'm satisfied with using only the app until I can fix the Google Assistant issue. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Smart plug works very great with Alexa and Google home app. It is one of the best kind out there and it's almost as good as the Alexa Amazon smart plug. It works really well with its own app. I couldn't figure out how to connect it to Alexa though. I have several other plugs and I have never had this issue before. I followed the directions but it didn't connect. It does turn on and off through its own app on my phone tho so I still think it works well. Read more
I have over 100 Tuya/Smart Life switches, lights, and sockets in my house. They are all then synced to Google Assistant via the cloud connection. This is the first product I have really had issues with. It is slow to respond in the Tuya/Smart Life application. May times it never actually makes the requested change. Additionally, it will not show up in Google Assistant. I did attempt to wipe the device and reinstall and more of the same. Unfortunately, I have to recommend finding another smart socket. Fortunately, there are so many additional Tuya enabled smart sockets out there. Read more
It’s a smart plug and I know it should work but gave up after about three hours of trying to connect it. I work in IT and have connected dozens of smart plugs but could not make this one work. Can’t completely discount human error so still giving this 3 stars. You have to register it on the app first before pairing with your home network. I use Amazon Alexa with everything and already had a smart app which this device will pair with but won’t actually work with. Had to completely uninstall and remove the device from my smart app and download the other app and try again and never could make it work. Read more
First the instructions are great. They are easy to read without a magnifying glass and have photos to guide you with the app. It's easy to use with the app simplifying timer and schedule functions. Easy to get working with voice assistants too. Read more
I love having multiple ones of these around the house. I use these to plug in my christmas decorations including the tree, etc. I am able to label them for future use and currently im using it on my salt lamp to turn it off and on remotely. Read more
This is a useful home smart plug-in that you can use for timed lights or other things. However, we were not able to get it to work with our Alexa, but did find success when using the recommended app on the installation directions. Read more
