I got the 4000K, 12-watt version to use as an everyday light because I read, write, do crafts, etc. at various points throughout the day. Too cool a color makes it hard for me to relax, but too warm makes it hard to see fine details. I don't use a dimmable fixture with them. For me, these are a good compromise. The bulbs seem to be well put together, (no off-kilter seams or odd gaps visible from the outside) and they turn on and off smoothly with no flickering. For a light bulb, these seem sturdy. Although these are projected to last longer than I likely will if used for three hours a day, I put them in my craft area in my main living space, so they will get used for more than the estimated 3 hours a day, so I imagine I will be ordering more of these in the future. Great replacement light bulbs. They are the perfect size for my lamps and all of my overhead lights. They are bright, not yellowish. My lamps are touch and they have 3 settings of brightness and these work perfectly. There's no flickering or buzzing noise. I saw in the description that these don't work for touch lamps so I'm not sure why as these are working just fine. They are a really good value for 4 of them. I bought the Brightver A19 LED light bulbs in the 2700K warm white (yellowish tone) 4-pack, and they work really well.
