I bought this specifically so I could automate it with Smart Life. I added a screenshot of a sample automation to warm my garage on a cold day. I mounted this 18 inches off the ground so it can avoid puddles but otherwise it’s a very standard heater until you automate it. I use multiple sensors and the heater itself provides a sensor so it’s easy to setup whatever you need. Without the automations you can use the very standard thermometer settings on the device itself, but you’re really missing out if you don’t use the Tuya functionality. As a heater it outputs the same as any heater. I have it on a dedicated circuit so I don’t have to worry about overloading it. Size wise the width is too short to mount to two studs but I lucked out and mounted it to the OSB in my garage behind the drywall. The included anchors are pretty good quality but do try to screw at least one corner to a stud. Read more

I had a propane heater in my kennel for over 20 years. I purchased another and the pilot light kept going out. So I said let me try this electric one well is is working great it is keeping the temperature in my kennel at 71 to 73 degrees working great and it works from my cell phone!!!
