First of all, I have never written a review before. I had to make an exception in this case. I bought the trimmer 7 months ago. I was happy with it, although changing the attachments is a little weird and you have to be careful not to break anything. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. I don't use the trimmer all that much, but the charge on the battery lasted 6 months. When I went to charge it, the non standard USB cord was very hard to plug in to the trimmer and nothing happened after I pushed it in as hard as I could. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a 12 month warranty. I called the provided number and it went to voicemail. Since I also had an email address, I decided to email them rather than leave a message. Before I was even able to start writing I received a call from Support. I was told they would send a replacement out after I provided the necessary information. Within a couple days, I get a package from Amazon. It was just the trimmer itself, no attachments, but that was fine. I plugged it in and the same result - bad fit and no charge. About a week later I received a follow-up email from Support and I informed them the situation, but I told them I wasn't going to worry about it anymore. I few days later, I received a complete trimmer package in the sealed box. This time the plug was a much better fit and it charged as expected. It's extremely rare to experience good, let alone outstanding customer service these days. I could not have had a better experience in this case. I recommend this trimmer for this reason alone. Of course, you can't trim a beard with good customer service, but I found the trimmer itself to be well made out of solid materials. Yes, the attachments are a little wonky, but workable, and hopefully the original unit I got was old stock with the poor fitting USB cable. I like the sold feel of the unit and the many attachment options, all at a resonable price. Read more

The Brightup Beard Trimmer is a solid grooming kit with a lot to offer. It comes with multiple attachments that make trimming beard, mustache, nose, ear, and body hair easy and efficient. The cordless design and rechargeable battery give great flexibility, and the IPX7 waterproofing is a huge plus for easy cleaning and shower use. The motor is quiet yet powerful, and the trimmer feels comfortable to hold. I also appreciate the sleek look, it makes a great gift! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the attachments can feel a bit tricky to snap on and off at first, but once you get used to it, everything works smoothly. Overall, a great value for the price and perfect for men who want a complete grooming solution at home. Read more

First the bad. The weird plastic storage container it comes with is pointless and cheap. Now the good. I just removed my month-old beard, trimmed and sculpted my goatee, and shaved where my beard had been all with this one device. I didn’t know…I didn’t know. One pass with any of the clipper attachments was all it took to achieve a perfect cut. The shaver shaves much closer that it has any right to do. I’m in my mid-50s. I’ve been shaving a long time. This incredibly affordable grooming device is far and away the best I’ve ever used. My sideburns are now called sidecools. The Air Force asked me to be a test pilot. Palpatine appeared in a ghostly vapor agreeing to give the Light Side an honest try. BMW redesigned their brakes to accept aftermarket parts. Jerry Jones had a fleeting doubt about past decisions. Apollo 13 made it to the moon. My dog brokered peace in the Middle East. Numerous women began researching polygamy. United Airlines dropped baggage fees. Speeding tickets can now be paid with hugs. Costco now accepts all major credit cards. And space is no longer the final frontier. If you’re on the fence about quality when it comes to this very sharp, very easy to use, very pleasant grooming tool, get off the fence and buy it. You’re welcome. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my husband and he’s really happy with it. The trimmer feels sturdy, the attachments are useful, and everything is easy to switch out. It charges fast and the battery display is very convenient. He said it trims smoothly without pulling hair, and the different heads make it great for beard, neckline, and even quick touch-ups. For the price, this kit is definitely worth it — very affordable and performs better than many expensive ones. Would recommend! Read more

This trimmer seems super fantastic, what with the power display, two speeds, all the extra stuff. It really isn't that great The numbers on the power display don't really mean anything, the battery is so crummy it doesn't last very long, and when the battery is discharged the trimmer doesn't give you any warning, it just stops right in the middle of using it, even if the display shows you have 48% battery power left. And why did they add the use timer? Who cares how long it was used, you can't reset the use time and it serves no purpose, just a fancy addition to a crummy trimmer. The thing has two speeds, slow and slightly faster, you only ever need to use the faster speed so now you have to push the power button twice instead of just once. Speaking of the power button, this on has a hair trigger and is not recessed, nor does it have a button lock, so if you travel with it you'll arrive with a dead battery because inevitably the power button will get bumped in your kit. They include a power cord that allows you to charge from a USB plug, which is nice, BUT the plug on the trimmer is not standard USB-C, or any other regular USB connector so you have to use only the proprietary cable that came with it. Do not buy this one! Read more
