Exactly what you need and a solid one
These filters were simple to pop into my pitcher and the water tastes clean and fresh. It’s nice knowing they’re supposed to catch more stuff than the basic filters, even if I can’t really see the difference. They are a bit on the pricey side, but if you use a Brita all the time they feel pretty reasonable. THe size fits perfectly well into my pitcher brita and they seem very firm. It seems sturdy. The water flows pretty quickly compared to my other filter which gives zero TMS, so I use Brita for more quick waters I need for cooking. Read more
Turned Our Sulfuric Well Water into Something My 10-Year-Old Actually Wants to Drink
I’ve been using Brita filters for years, and this 4-pack has been a solid investment in our family’s daily health. Each filter lasts about a month with regular use, and I can absolutely taste the difference once I switch out an old one. The installation is quick and mess-free—just rinse and snap it into the pitcher. We have well water at home, which can sometimes carry a slightly earthy taste or subtle odors. These filters make a big difference, helping to remove any of those off-notes and giving us crisp, clean water that even my 10-year-old drinks happily. What I really appreciate is the peace of mind these filters bring. Our tap water has a slightly sulfuric taste due to being on a well system, and we normally rely on a water softener to make it drinkable. Great Filtration, But Mold Appears Too Soon
The Brita Plus filters do a great job improving the taste and quality of my water. I can definitely tell a difference compared to tap water, and I like the peace of mind knowing they reduce more contaminants than the standard filters. Installation is easy, they fit perfectly in my pitcher, and the water flow stays strong for most of the filter’s life. However, I’ve consistently noticed that mold starts developing before the 2-month mark, even with proper care and regular cleaning of the pitcher. I follow the recommended maintenance steps and keep everything clean, so it’s frustrating to see buildup appear sooner than expected. It doesn’t affect performance immediately, but it does make me uncomfortable continuing to use the filter as long as advertised. Overall, these filters work well and deliver clean-tasting water, but the early mold issue keeps them from being perfect. If Brita could improve that aspect, these would easily be a 5-star product.
