Hardware: Very easy to assemble and install. Came with all parts necessary for integration with standard plumbing. The included faucet is very nice and is well made with a good finish (sturdy with no drips/leaks). Like others, I would have liked a brushed version of the faucet, but it really wasn't a deal breaker. The diverter and fasteners seem solid and the mounting bracket for the filters is nice and sturdy. The 3 filter mounts can each be tilted upward individually for replacing the filters, something I didn't notice mentioned in the description but a great feature to make filter replacements easy. Water quality: The filtered water tastes great and is definitely better than the tap and the single filter (above-counter model) this replaced. There was some initial sediment and a strange oily look to the water until I let it run for a bit. The instructions suggest to let the filter prime itself by running for about 5 minutes...it took closer to 10 minutes before I saw no visible sediment in a glass and trusted the water for a taste. I figure the sediment was from the filters and the oily residue might be in the diverter tubes or faucet from the manufacturing process. Either way, it was cleared with the initial flush. The water does come out a bit cloudy looking but it's just air bubbles as it dissipates in a glass within seconds becoming very clear. I didn't test with a quality meter but the filtered water is a definite improvement in color, taste and smell. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The ease of installation and inclusion of all the necessary parts (and excellent quality faucet) definitely make this a good deal. Total time to install from box opening to first glass of drinkable water was about 45 minutes. Read more

Let me start by saying, this is a great water filter. It was very straightforward to install. The kit explained everything very well. Most everything just snapped together and the only other tools I needed besides my fingers were an adjustable crescent wrench and a screwdriver. It took me less than 30 minutes, taking my time, to install everything, which included removing the unused soap dispenser in the countertop and replacing it with this water filter. I was a little nervous when I had read some of the reviews, people saying the fittings didn't fit or the water was bad coming out or whatever. I'd recommend you just ignore all of those reviews. I have standard US 1/2 inch pipes with the normal undersink shutoff valves with a compression fitting on top. The t-connector that came with the unit was perfect. It fit right in between the feed line and the fitting going to the sink. I love that the fitting has it's own independent shutoff for the water filter so you can turn that off if you need to do some sort of work on the filter system alone. Also, I really liked that the t-connector is all metal instead of a plastic fitting, or even worse, a line tap that pokes a hole in your copper line, which is just awful, I had one of those before. The fitting that comes with this kit is perfect and easily removed at some point in the future if you decide you want to just remove the whole system. Also, I really like the indicator light on the spigot. It's a simple thing, but I like having something to remind me when it's time to change the filter without having to remember myself or put a reminder in my calendar or something. As for the water, it tastes great! It tastes way better than the water out of the tap and it tastes better than the $50 water filter I have to replace in my KitchenAid fridge every six months. We've had different water filters for over 10 years now and the water coming out of this filter is on par with any that I've had in the past. One other thing I liked about this filter was the detailed testing sheet that they have on the product detail page. It just gave us a little extra confidence over some other similarly less expensive water filter systems, that this product had been tested to reduce or eliminate the contaminants in our water that we cared about. It may sound a bit like a commercial, but I wanted to share how thoroughly happy we were with the product and I'm glad this was the one we purchased. Hope it helps you in your buying decision. Does exactly what it says it will do. Very easy to install - just like the video says. Biggest problem is your particular access to space and existing water pipes...up under the sink, where it tends to be very cramped. Be sure to have good lighting, comfy pillows to lie on and the few tools you'll need handy, so you don't have to constantly keep getting out from under. Once installed, the water quality and taste is excellent! Easily the most economical way to get a highly-rated drinking water system. Just wish they offered a brushed nickel spigot in addition to the chrome. Read more

Prefacing review - i am not super picky. SF Bay Area gets water from the mountains, tastes fine to me. However, i am trying to eliminate any nasty particles that hitch a ride along the way. First of all, this was super easy to install. Instructions were very clear, and it helped that i already had an old filtration system installed. Faucet is modern (wish it was nickel not chrome, but oh well ...), filters are color-coded so there's no room for error, filters water at a good rate (comes out cloudy, i read its temporary). Only issue i have is, the faucet pivots very easily. the base attached to the sink is secure - it's the next "joint" up, the one with the horizontal piece that holds the handle. You barely bump it, and it rotates. Also, the piece that holds the faucet handle wobbles slightly. not a huge deal, but maybe it needs to be reengineered a bit. Otherwise, seems like a great product - love the indicator light - my old system didn't have it and i never knew when i was supposed to change filters. 1/6/22: docking a star for excessive maintenance costs. replacement filters cost $75, which is almost what i paid for the entire unit. will be looking into reasonably priced alternatives. 8/11/23: hung on to it for another year. Ive been battling a mysterious leak under the sink for weeks, couldnt identify the culprit until this week. Unit developed a tiny drip where water lines meet filter bracket and now i have soggy, warped boards which will have to be replaced. Filtration unit is junk! Read more
