The boots came so well packaged. Each boot came folded over, in its own dust bag with a styrofoam form inside, keeping the ankle and foot section from collapsing. And an additional piece of thin styrofoam separating the two boots which, again, were in their own dust bag. I’d never seen such care devoted to presentation and protection. The feel of the boot is beautiful. Not plasticky at all. The fit, however, was not what I was hoping for. It was a very narrow fit. I couldn’t even get my foot down into the boot’s foot section. And the “wide” calf was just normal width, in my opinion. My calves are bigger than the boots allowed, and I’m not even that big, but my legs are muscular. If you are going to buy these, buy a size up. I can’t account for the toe box and if it would have been wide enough for my wide feet, but i needed at least one size up, even though Amazon said the size i chose was the right size for me. I wish these worked for me. They are so cute, and stylish, and the perfect color. They would have matched everything. Read more

When I first tried these on, I could tell the fit was perfect. Plenty of calf room, tall, foot fits just right, but the heels soles do make noise on hard floors. The shine is what I love and wanted, and these will go very nicely with dresses, skirts, and blazers. From casual to very formal. Fun to wear and I want to order the mocha ones! FRJR Knee High Boots are very comfortable. I'll start with the fact that I usually need a 6W, but I ordered a regular sized 6, and they fit me perfectly with regular boot socks. I tried polar fleece socks and they were too tight. I have never been a pointy-toe shoe or boot girl, and I know many feel the same. Sometimes, though, the round toe is improperly done and the boots can look weird. These round toes look really good! The wide calf doesn't matter alot to me, but the boots do have wider calves, and that makes it easier for me to wear my leg warmers inside the boots. There are no zippers, just pull them on, and they come off easily as well. They do have a pull strap at the top back of the boot, and metal accent hardware there, as well. In addition to the strap, there's an elasticized portion on the calf to accommodate larger calf sizes. The upper boot material is listed as PU, which is poly urethane, a leather look material. It is soft, pliable, and comfortable to wear. The insides are lined with thin, smooth padding. The more structured lower part where your foot goes is rigid, and they act like true leather boots. Your foot outline will not be pressing into them. The only issue I've noticed is that the foot part of the boots and the soles are very stiff right now. I imagine after wearing them awhile that will relax, but for now, they feel exactly the way new cowboy boots do. The cost of these boots is comparable with other boots of their kind. I've had many pairs over the years, but I do find these more comfortable than 6 or 7 other pairs I've had. Comfortable boots are hard to find! The square heels add stability and some height, which I love. Finally, these come nicely protected in a sturdy box that you can store them in. Each boot has its own fabric sleeve to keep them from rubbing against each other and the box, and if cared for, these lovely boots should hold up under typical use. Read more

This really could have been a 5-star review, but I just couldn’t give it that because the design wasn’t for me. The boots were extremely shiny, and I didn’t care for the mix of brown on the bottom and the very glossy black all the way around. It’s just not a style I personally would wear. However, my middle child and my youngest absolutely loved them and thought they looked really cool. So while the look didn’t fit my taste, it clearly appeals to others.
