I have purchased this twice because I love it so much I wanted to keep one where I frequently spend the night so I don't lose the one for home. The gentle pressure of the beads is a soothing sensation on the sinuses and the weight seems to help my brain turn off and for me to go to sleep. After wearing it for a while it really has helped to train my brain that it's sleep time. Since it's beads, it's easy to gently press them about for the most comfort if you're a side sleeper like I am, so there's no extra pressure if your cheek presses onto it. That also lets it block the light exceptionally well. The band is comfortable and does loosen up with use, which may be an issue if you move around a lot at night, but I haven't had it slide out of place yet. Will likely pick up a third to keep in my travel bag too. And I haven't even tried putting it in the freezer yet. Great product. Read more

This sleep mask was recommended by subscribers to the Migraine World Summit. I am so glad I took their advice. It's the best sleep mask I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of them. It's not stiff like some or tight. It keeps the light out completely (so much so that I can't tell it's morning if I'm wearing it!). It keeps cool and molds to your eyes and face. The beads inside don't shift to become uneven because of the smart way that the mask is sewn. I love the slightly weighted feel, especially when I have a migraine and I need some counter pressure to relieve the pain. It keeps amazingly cool just by being in an air conditioned room but you can make it cooler by putting it in the fridge or cold by putting it in the freezer. I bought this mask in 2015. I had just been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that was causing eye issues, and I needed a cold, kind of weighted mask. I got the mask and immediately put it in the freezer overnight and used it the next morning. This mask is so comfortable. The beaded weight is perfect and conforms to my eye area perfectly. The material is very soft and soothing. I love that the beads in the mask get cold, but not so cold that it’s uncomfortable. It is such a soothing mask! I wear it till it starts warming up (about 10 minutes) and then flip it around and get another 10 minutes of cool relief from the other side. After using the mask once, I ordered a 2nd mask. That way I could have cooling relief longer. I’m thinking about ordering two more. While I bought the mask to help with my swollen and painful eyes, it is also wonderful for my migraines. And I also use it on my forehead to help cool me down when I’m overheated. Now the negatives. 1. It does not massage your face. If you want the beads to massage, you have to do it yourself. 2. Unfortunately it does not defy the laws of thermodynamics, and it only stays cold for so long (just like every other mask that comes out of the freezer). Hence why I bought two of them. 3. If you leave it on a table unattended, your new puppy will think it’s a chew toy. But good news, you can put the beads back in it, sew the hole back up and it will be good as new. I’ve been using the IMAK Compression Pain Relief Mask daily / nightly for three months. In short, it’s GREAT! It’s weighted but, doesn’t put pressure on your eyes, which is essential when you have a migraine or simply want to be able to wear it for several hours of rest or sleep. Pros: It keeps light out when you’re trying to rest or sleep (day or night)! The concave eye area is wonderful! It’s comfortable! It’s weighted to provide some gentle pressure around the eyes but, not on the eyes. The nose cutout fits well. It’s similar to the eye pillow my Yoga teacher passed out at the end of class for savasana (absolutely wonderful)! Cons: The elastic headband is narrower than I’d like and it’s not adjustable. Summary: I recommend it and when the elastic headband stretches, I’ll likely order another one simply because it’s been so comfortable and helps me get the rest I need. Read more
