Wore in Sharm El Sheik in Egypt and got lots of compliments. Perfect for a beach town, and I dressed up with great shoes and a designer clutch for dinner. Was nice and breezy in the muggy September heat there and very easy for walking around the resort, as a suit coverup, and for a pseudo-fancyish dinner with our hosts. There were a few threads hanging when it arrived, but it was easy to clean up myself. The best decision I made was buying this kaftan for a rehearsal dinner. Comfy, classic, can be dressed up or down. I am 5’6 and usually wear L or XL and this was comfy and roomy enough for me. It might be slightly short if you’re tall, but I think it would still work. Read more

Incredibly soft and comfortable, but both seams on the sides have broken open after only a couple of wears. It's probably fixable but it was weak stitching. Item is handwash only which is also a con. Read more

I love this Kaftan because of its softness (silky like), its flowiness and very nice movement. Plus its versatility as it could be dressed down or up per occasion! It is not sheer at all and so there is no need to wear a slip underneath. I am usually wear a L, it fit me perfectly and its roominess made it more flowy me. In my opinion, it is loose enough to accommodate even an 2XL The Medallion design on the chest is very chic and adds to its quality look. The V neck is not too deep, but if one finds it so, a camisole can be worn underneath, but I did not need to wear any! I ordered two ( orange, peacock) and both colors are very vibrant with plenty of sheen, which adds its silky look. One thing I love about the kaftan is the way it defines my waist because of the stitching on the sides. I also like the detail where it is gathered in the front. I did end up returning it however, because there were a couple of things I really didn’t like. For one thing, it’s super wrinkly fabric, which doesn’t work well for me for travel- which is what I purchased for. It’s very lightweight and fits true to size, but I didn’t love the length on me, it wasn’t as long as I wanted it to be. It also is rounded at the bottom, which I didn’t like at all. Read more

I really wanted to like this cover-up, but it just did not work for me at all. The fabric felt cheap and had that “crunchy” texture that doesn’t drape nicely. When I put it on, it honestly felt like I was wearing a tent — no shape, no structure, and not flattering. It looked great in the photos, but in person it just didn’t match the quality I expected.
