I am 5’6 with short legs, 160lbs with wide hips. The large was a perfect fit. I thought these might be sheer-ish and silky but they are not. It’s sort of like dry-fit athletic fabric so it’s kind of flowy. Not really dressy. More for casual wear. The come to just above my ankles. A gal with average or tall leg length they’re going to come higher up toward the calf. Unfortunately, Amazon shipped me a used, damaged pair. This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened. And if you order from Amazon very often I imagine you’ve experienced it also. I do not understand how people can in good conscience by a garment, wear it and damage it, and then return it to Amazon. At the same time, I do not understand why Amazon does not inspect returns before shipping items out that are used and damaged. It’s disgusting. Someone has worn these pants and sit down on a very rough surface so the seat of the pants is full of nicks and picks I’ve requested a return, I have to re-order a new pair, hoping I actually do receive a new pair this time. They wrinkle terribly even though they are very baggy. I like the pockets and elastic waist, but the wrinkling is unflattering. I wish I would have returned the pants. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Soft fabric, light but not flimsy, beautiful fit at the waist and hips, and the flowiness of the pants is just enough without being too much. Great for work or simply going out. Definitely can dress these up (with a blouse) or dress them down (with a tank top). Read more

These were a complete disappointment—I put them on, and they looked awful. I don't understand why pleats are back in style; they were unflattering in the eighties, and they’re still unflattering now. At least back then, they were usually made with summer weight wool gabardine, not this flimsy polyester that doesn’t even hold its shape. It’s frustrating that affordable options are often made from such cheap fabric. Even as a teenager, I avoided polyester, and it’s unfortunate that young people today have to settle for it while embracing trends that don’t do anyone any favors. And ladies, let’s be clear—if the pleats are stretching, they do not fit. Size up! No trend is worth looking like a stuffed sausage. If I could give zero stars I would. Read more
