I have had neck pain for several years as a result of a car accident. To make it worse, I have awful TMJ that required surgery. Those two combinations make it difficult to find a good comfort zone, especially while sleeping. I also have to sleep on an incline, which is very straining and painful on my neck. I have been searching for a good pillow. I have bought several, a lot more expensive than this one. Yet, I still could not get any relief. I was skeptical about this pillow, especially with it being filled with buckwheat. But as soon as I unpackaged it, I feel in love. The material is very good quality and lovely. As soon as I laid my head on the pillow, it was comfortable and brought a lot of relief to my neck, shoulders, and jaw area. It was the perfect weight, firmness, and size for me. I did not add any extra hulls to mine yet as it was just right from the start. There is a slight noise with the pillow; however, it did not bother me nor could I hear it in the night when I would switch sides. It also seemed to become quieter the more that I used it. I've had this for about a month now and I kind of love it. I've had health issues the last few years and have lost a lot of muscle in my entire body as a result. The last six months or so I've been having near daily headaches that seem to stem from neck tension. Decided to try this thinking that maybe my neck is getting out of alignment when I sleep and that's causing the tension. Well after adjusting the amount of filling, this little support pillow keeps my head from flopping onto its side as I sleep and after about a week I noticed I wasn't having daily headaches anymore. It's been about a month and I'm so happy that I'm not having daily headaches anymore. I don't notice any smell, the cover is nice and soft and removes easily to wash it or to access the filling inside, and it's nice and small so it's not taking up much space when not in use. I wish I would have known about this pillow sooner. This is the only pillow that has ever given me the relief I needed. It's the perfect size (I added all the supplemental buckwheat hulls). I've tried all of those big fluffy cervical pillows, but they were too big for my neck and hurt worse. It had no weird smells, the perfect weight, and I will buy another one for my suitcase to take when I travel. I needed a neck pillow for watching TV from my recliner. I used to have one that worked great but died and cannot find another one like it. Have the typical Airline neck pillow but it's kind of annoying, decided to look for something else more in line with the old one. Appreciate having some tolerable color choices, fussy about that with something I use constantly. A bit worried it will get dirty however the cover Zips off and is washable a big plus. 👍 Is not overly bulky and suitable for my small frame. Design is exactly what I was looking for. The best thing is support versatility by removing some of the hulls.👍 Included is additional hulls to that which it came with. Another thing I really appreciated was a well-constructed storage bag for the hulls with a zipper. I could probably throw the excess away but more inclined to keep - just in case. 😆 Storage space is a real big problem for me but I have no fear of the excess hull bag disintegrating (a tropical climate is really hard on everything) opening up or tiny little hulls scattering all over the place. 👍 Very impressed with the quality, stitching and hardware for both outer and inner bag. 👍 Shipping was quick and well packaged in the requested something besides just an envelope type. Cannot always get that and my free Prime shipping is pretty hard on packaging. I just got it and took the time to adjust stiffness for my needs.
