Amazing product. I purchased this product solely for dietary protein. (I have had poor results with whey, soy, pea, etc.) The flavor is neutral. Maybe like powdered milk. However, the thing that blew me away was the impact to my nails and hair. Within about a week of taking one scoop a day, I noticed that my fingernails were growing rapidly. Not only growing but they were noticeably thicker. After another week or so, I noticed that my hair was styling differently. I actually attributed it to a new shampoo. I switched back to my old shampoo and that wasn't it. (Seriously, sometimes I am clueless.) I was actually frustrated because my hair seem harder to brush and was a lot more wavy than normal. What did it for me was getting my hair cut last week. My regular hair stylist grabbed a hand-full of my hair and said "OMG, What are you doing to your hair? It's so thick!" What was making hit hard to style was that I had thicker hair at my roots and thinner at the ends. She had to change the way she cuts my hair - because it's that different. After a nice trim, my hair is easier to manage and looks great. Honestly, I wouldn't say that I don't care about my looks. But, I am not someone who puts a lot of thought into my hair products. I just want to look neat and professional. I wouldn't be buying this product because I thought "I wish I could find something to make my hair thicker and have more body.. and healthier fingernails would be good, too." Nope. That's not me. I am just looking for a healthy dietary protein. So now, my wife who has very fine hair and fragile nails, is sneaking into my stash of Bulletproof Upgraded Collagen Protein. I like this product but for some reason, it tastes a little different from my previous purchases of this product. I don't know maybe my tastebuds have changed. I still like the product and although there is no medicinal proof it works, i still feel better when i use it. Read more
I’m on a high protein diet (100 grams total per day) This collagen peptide has 18 grams protein. I mix this in a Shaker bottle with Chike Coffee Mocha protein powder (20 grams), 10 oz of water, and ice. Shake well and you can’t even taste it, has no smell, and it has no grainy taste or stomach discomfort either-it tastes like an iced coffee that you would pay $$ elsewhere . A cheap shaker bottle works great, no need for a blender or immersion blender stick. The collagen peptide powder has allowed me to double my protein intake for breakfast. I don’t normally cook breakfast, but instead drink my protein shake on the run. And I’m hoping it helps with my old dry skin and hair. This is definitely my new Collagen Protein powder. Read more
Bulletproof is one of the few brands that are actually tasteless. My husband and I drink black coffee in the mornings and add collagen to it. We try all kinds of brands, and while they all work well to do what they’re supposed to, Bulletproof is our favorite because it doesn’t taste. I will add that we only use one scoop instead of two in our coffee. It dissolves well, doesn’t cause upset tummy, and doesn’t smell or taste in our coffee. Read more
