These are really nice belts, kind of exceeded expectations for the price. They are stout leather as described, the manufacturer's fit chart is right on - use it don’t try to second guess. They are pretty enough to go with business casual, or to a dance, but are intended as a sturdy work belt. Really hit the mark on this item, I’ll be buying the black (I got brown to start). I appreciate the Chicago screws instead of snaps - can change buckles and they will stay put. I bet this belt will last rest of my life. Read more
This belt is “Pure Quality “ from the leather to the stitching design!!! Must admit that this was the most expensive belt I’ve ever purchased but I am totally satisfied with the materials they use as well as the attention to detail in their design. This belt is definitely worth every penny and I am considering getting it in another color as the brown impressed me so much. I was reluctant to spend the money on the Bullhide belt but I remembered how belts used to be made before the market was overrun with cheaper imports, so I gave it a try. I ordered the Figure 8 Stitched - Heavy Duty Premium Belt in Black. It was intended for use as a semi-fancy belt to wear with blue jeans. It was obvious by the heft of the box it came in that this wasn't an import. As a retired Law Enforcement officer I was accustomed to good quality USA made leather duty belts. The Bullhide belt was everything I was accustomed to with a strong belt made to last. The quality was obvious by the excellent stitching, the thick leather, quality buckle, the leather color and it looks great. When you put on a belt and you can hear the leather "squeak" like good quality saddle leather, you know it was worth the money. I have order another Bullhide belt. It's great to find a product made in the USA. One last comment, their sizing instructions gave me a perfect fit unlike imported belts that greatly vary in their interpretations of sizes. This is the fourth belt I’ve ordered from Bully Belts and it’s not because the other belts wore out, but because I love them! So far I’ve worn this belt 4 times. With that being said. The belt looks thick not like the cheap stuff you find everywhere. It’s 1-1/2” wide and it did fit my mechanic pants from cintas which I’m extremely happy with as this will be my work belt. I noticed that this belt hasn’t creased at the hole I’m using yet. I’m assuming it’s going to last because the cheap ones crease and stretch right away. In addition I’m a size 44 pants I got a 46. As a bigger man I’m about 320lb and a lot of the belts I use hurt my stomach and stretch real easy this one does NOT ! I will use this belt for another month if it keeps meeting my needs I will definitely be a repeat customer and will be ordering one more ***EDIT after 3 weeks daily use ** The belt has stretched a tiny bit as expected for leather. The stitch came up a little with two “hairs” no big deal I burned the tips and has been fine However I feel the sizing might be a tad off When I want to be nice and tight for work I’m on the last hole when I want a snug fit for regular use I’m on the second to last. (Out of 5 holes) that being said I might try a size 44 instead of a 46 next time. I wear size 44 pants and always 46 belt. This being said I would still buy this belt I feel like Im not wearing one it holds on just fine and it’s what I hoped for this far. I will try to update in another month. Read more
