Locally available bungee cords have unfortunately opted to go for the lowest-priced units produced. While the price is very cheap so is the quality. The wrapping material on such inexpensive cords disintegrate within a year of being place in the direct sun of summer and exposure to the rain and cold of winter. Once that happens, the rubber interior cord swiftly deteriorates and the cord either breaks or loses its retention. The bungee cords from Bexsle so far have proven to be a superior product. They've handled one summer and most of a winter with no visible degradation. I have been impressed enough to order two additional sets of these cords in other sizes for various needs on our property. If you need a bungee cord to be used outside I strongly endorse the cords from Bexsle. The only reason I did not rate this cord at 5 stars is I would expect such a cord to last outdoors more than three years and I have not had this cord that long yet. Read more

Very pleased with the quality of these bungie cords. I bought them to convert box fans into temporary air purifiers by placing a filter strapped with a bungie cord to the back. The length of these allowed them to completely stretch around the box fan frame and hold the filter tight. In fact, they hold so well, I only needed one cord instead of the two usually strung around the top and bottom. Read more
