I bought this in 2018 and at first I didn't like it, so I put it in a drawer. The smell is natural but unexpected, the color is greyish and it did not blend as easily as I imagined, but I was going through my old products and gave it another chance. This time, I shook the product and used a sponge. That beige-gray tint is giving a correcting affect and I feel like it is almost a little bit blurring as well. It looks more matte than my other favorite similar skin tint products, but I think it looks very pretty, feels nice, and has its place. The broad spectrum sunscreen is an added bonus. The shade fit perfectly on my skin with no noticeable demarcation line. I am 1n00 in mufe and 105 in maybelline (maybe a little less peachy) and between 105-109 in revlon. Read more

I was expecting this to be an eh BB cream but this is actually the best face color I've ever tried. It does crease a bit but less than other things I've tried. Before putting this on, I washed my face then put on burt's bees acne cream and those two products really work well together. I put a little bit on at a time on each region and rubbed it into my skin in a circular motion and patted it. It has to be pat *a lottt* though which is kind of annoying. It also doesn't dry my skin or irritate it like literally every other face color I've tried which is why I bought this particular brand in the first place. It is a bit cakey around areas with hair and in my nose crease but if you rub and pat enough it starts to go away. But you have to do a lot if you're just using your fingers. I would use brushes but I don't like how they make things look on my face and it also wastes product because most of it is on the brush and this BB cream bottle is pretty small. It also smells like chocolate citrus which was an awesome bonus. Other face color I've tried has had this gross chemical smell but this smells good which seems to be a running theme with the burt's bees products I've tried. I'm starting to become a fan of this brand ngl. Also in the photo I don't have any blush on Read more

I tried this for the first time today. First, let me say that I’ve tried TONS of BB/CC creams, and this one was the lightest in color by far. If you have any tone to your skin at all, this is not for you. I switched from Neutragena Healthy Skin anti-aging perfector because their fair to light was slightly too dark and because I saw many reviews that rave about Burts Bees moisturizing properties. Y’all. This went on my skin grey and stayed gray for 10 minutes. I look like a ghost, or at least very ill. I ended up mixing it with some old CC cream that was too dark and I’m giving it a day to see how I feel about it. I’ll also say you definitely need some kind of powder to set this because my face looks and feels pretty oily. At least it’s moisturizing though, hence the extra star. If your skin is totally parched and you have the completion of paper, this product is for you. Otherwise, try Garnier BB cream (surprising I know, but it’s an amazing go-to) or Neutragena. UPDATE: after several weeks of use and increasingly drier weather, I have come to appreciate its highly moisturizing properties that I initially took to be oiliness. It is actually really soothing to use and feels more like deep hydration than simply “too oily”. I stand by my description of the color, but once I added in some old, darker bb creams it became more manageable. I will actually order this again, but probably a shade darker. Read more

I hate wearing sunscreen on my face, but it's a necessary evil so I was so happy that I found this! I have oily skin (especially in the summer) and this blends right in and absolutely disappears so I barely even feel it! It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and has a pleasant, almost apple-y scent as well. You only need about a pea-sized amount, and really do have to blend it quite well though, but once it's blended it evens out skin tone nicely. I was worried that the Light wouldn't work on me since I have more pinkish than yellowish skin, but it blends in beautifully. I dust a light layer of translucent powder over it and it's a great foundation alternative for summer. Overall, this is lightweight, non-irritating, and looks great and I certainly recommend it! Love this bb cream, it is the best one I’ve been using it for years. It doesn’t separate how the rest of the bb creams do. I like to use *bronzing drops* and mix it into this so it’s my perfect shade. Love this product it’s been harder to find over the years, I’m just happy they’re still making it. Coverage is medium which is good coverage for a bb cream! I never use anything else and I’ve tried all the expensive foundations Read more

I bought this in the Light (or Light/Medium) shade hoping it would be a good natural tinted moisturizer with SPF. At first, it seemed a bit too light, so I figured I'd wait until winter when my skin is paler – but nope, even now in December it oxidizes to a greyish/ashy tone on my face that looks unnatural. The texture is also a big downside for me – it's way thicker than any other tinted lotion or BB cream I've tried. It feels more like a heavy cream than a lightweight tinted moisturizer, and it's harder to blend evenly. On top of that, it has an odd smell that I didn't expect from Burt's Bees (some reviews mention a citrusy or noni fruit scent, but mine just smelled off).Overall, this just didn't work for me. If you're looking for something sheer and lotion-like, I'd skip this one. Read more
