Very cute dress. I purchased xs in black and it's alittle snug in the shoulder and bust area. The length was perfect. I'm 4'11" about 118lbs and have a pear shape. The belt isn't great quality. Wear with ankle strap sandals, gold jewelry, clutch bag. Nice for a casual event but need to look modest and put together. The material has a sheer top layer and solid underneath. Sleeves sheer. Beautiful mint color. The fabric is SO pretty, very flowy and soft. Not heavy. Perfect for the occasion. The only reason I took off one star is the belt. While the dress (size Large) fit perfectly even with a little extra room, the belt was way too small. I couldn’t even reach the first belt opening. Maybe it was a mix up and they sent the wrong one. Beautiful dress. I’m 5’1 usually a size 4 in jeans and got the small size. It doesn’t fit too long nor too tight. It’s just right. It’s very modest and perfect for any occasion. The length goes to under my knees. It’s very comfortable with my bust size 36. An x-small is a 2-4 but I think it would’ve been tight on my bust. So a Small is perf . The material is kind of delicate and thin so just be careful about that. I would buy other colors!! Just get it!! Read more
Other reviewers pointed these two things out already: 1. The dress is really small in the bust, even if it fits everywhere else. 2. Others noted that they received a dress that was worn before. Mine was definitely worn before because of the foul body odor I could smell on it. I almost wanted to try to wash it, but seriously the smell was so bad, I couldn’t get myself to keep it. I considered re ordering it but I did not want to risk getting the same one again, and the bust being too small just solidified my decision not to pursue this one. Pretty dress otherwise. Read more
I received so many compliments at a work event. Strangers coming up to me to compliment my look. It does not come with the belt so I paired it with a black belt with gold hardware that matched the buttons. I’m apple shaped, 180 lbs, with DD chest and got the XXL. Fit perfectly with some wiggle room in the chest area so the girls weren’t trying to bust through the seams. Highly recommend. Read more
I overnighted this dress for a big conference tomorrow but I was sorely disappointed and disgusted. The package was visually unopened and assumed to be new but when I tried the dress on it had been worn and repackaged with large makeup stains all over the dress. Returning immediately. Read more
Excellent dress for taller women. I am 5’5” 140lbs with a bigger waistline 33”. I usually wear a medium but Because they did not state that the waist was elasticized I ordered a large to be on the safe side. I find that the torso of the dress especially the center front is a bit longer than it should be. If I had ordered the medium I think it would be a better fit. I love the color (royal blue ) and the material Is nice, it’s 100% polyester but it looks like Crepe. So instead of returning it I decided to just fix it (I can sew) but I didn’t have to sew anything I tried shrinking it first by washing it on a warm cycle and drying it on a warm cycle ( not hot ) and removing it from the dryer immediately after the dryer stops and instead of hanging it up I just lightly folded it and let it sit until it’s cold. The length shrank about a half of an inch which helped. It can be worn as a slight blouse on over the belt. I got a silver belt to match the buttons. Read more
