I ordered this dress in "black" and the first thing I noticed when I opened it was the very strong copper undertone. Not a dealbreaker on its own, it can probably pass as black in a very dimly lit room, but it's also poorly designed. I don't have much going for me up top, but there's so little bust on this dress that it was enough to pull a gap between the buttons in most positions while still hanging loosely over my stomach. What a pleasant surprise this dress is! I expected it to be smaller than usual, coming from China, so I ordered a size larger (XL) than I normally would. It was quite roomy but not baggy, and the extra space was cinched in nicely with the belt. A little snug in the arms (I have bigger than normal arms) but the slight stretch in the fabric kept it from being too tight. A lovely, lightweight fabric that drapes wonderfully. It did come wrapped into a tight little ball and needed major ironing. AND at 5’2”, the back of the dress draped on the floor on me like the train on a wedding dress, so I also had to do some sewing before being able to wear it. But it is definitely worth the money. I was very hesitant to get this dress because of all of the bad reviews about the fabric. I ended up buying it thinking that I could return it if I didn’t like it but fortunately, there was no reason to return it. The dress is perfect fits great, and the fabric looks high-quality. Love this dress! I wanted a versatile long sleeve dress and this one delivered. Pockets are deep and I felt my phone was absolutely secure and didn’t drag my dress down either.
