So I bought this for my husband to light the smoke tube that we use on the pellet grill. It works great!1 The adjustable flame is very nice and super easy to fill also. I love that you can see how miuch fluid is left. It came with a little lanyard which defiantly comes in handy. One of those things that you didn't know you needed until you got it. Ut is very well made, all metal which surprised me. I am a professional pyromaniac and I have tried every lighter on the market, but none compare to the JEVSTU Torch Lighter. This bad boy is the ultimate fire-starting machine. I have tried lighting everything from damp logs to dynamite with the JEVSTU Torch Lighter and it has never let me down. In fact, I would say this lighter is almost too good at its job. I tried lighting a candle with it and ended up melting the whole darn thing. Oops! The lighter works fairly well, one annoying drawback is the flame adjustment being on the sloppy side, so forget anything but a crude adjustment of flame. The sweet spot one would want for pipes or cigars is notoriously hard to hit, then the fluid runs low and the next adjustment waste of fuel begins. It wants to run on 'hi' and hates running on 'low' as far as flame height, a waste. Fault two: the window for fuel level is hard to read-another annoyance. Fault Three: though the adjuster end cap has a lanyard, there is no way to attach it to the unit, so losing this all but inevitable for most people. Fault Four: Speaking of end caps, it seems a no-brainer to flair the adjuster cap end, so the lighter could be set standing up on a stable flat surface, but no- it is too narrow to serve a second purpose when it is just asking to be modified for being set vertically, so it is always horizontal when resting- or will be in an instant. Those raving about this are probably paid promotion items person or similar, because this s decent enough for general purposes, say lighting a pile of leave on fire, it would be fine, but still is nothing to rave about. If you want a general purpose single flame 'torch' type of a lighter, this one would do nicely. Read more

I’m so happy with this lighter on beside myself. I’ve been using hurricane matches to light my jet boil back country camping, which is frankly ridiculous. They burn up the outside canister like crazy. They’re a pain to get lit. You have to bury them to put them out. This lighter is effortless to use. It shoots a torch of blue flame out approximately 1 inch. It hits the area where the gas is coming out of my jet. Boil immediately igniting it with one simple click. The only tricky part is that if you’re not used to it, you have to go to a smoke and Vape shop and buy a canister of butane to fill it. it wasn’t too difficult. Wear gloves. Just take the butane in and ask the guy at the counter which canister is good for that lighter. It seems to be a pretty universal port. So like I said, for I think about 10 bucks is what I paid. Haven't used them longer than a week and a half since I got them. I opened the package a week or so after it'd been delivered and I filled them according to the directios. After using them only about 4 or 5x a day (lighting candles or my dad using them for his cigars) a couple times we used them to light cardboard to toss in when lighting our fire pit and they have completely come apart. The tops have came off the screwes 1 by 1 fell out and are so small it was impossible to find them once noticing 1 had fallen out. I'm just mad it's only a couple days past my return window so I'm stuck with them. Not like the seller cares enough to make it right with a buyer or check these comments to a point they'd act on it. But I guess is my review reaches one person preventing them from wasting their money or at least to make sure as return it in time, than I'm good with that and feel like my review had a purpose it fulfilled.
