In my recent WFH state, I have put a candle in my office and have been struggling with going up and downstairs (first world problems, I know) because we only have one lighter in the house and almost always have a candle burning downstairs as well. It’s so simple, all you have to do is turn it on with the switch at the bottom and slide up the button on the side to reveal the little prongs and it lights any candle within seconds!! i use this everyday. it’s wonderful. super effective. i wouldn’t say it’s portable. i mean you can keep it in your car or purse but it’s long. it’s as long as a tube wand lipgloss. it’s battery life is nuts. i will say, because it’s electric... when you press the button to spark the electric current, there’s a high pitch noise. almost dog whistle-esque. but it isn’t like i’m holding it down for longer than 7 seconds. it is worth noting tho, that if i were stuck in the wild and needed to start a fire with this electric lighter, my ears would ring like crazy because of the pitch. i’m pretty positive there will always be an inherent pitch due to the very mechanism of the piece. overall, super convenient! I saw this on tik tok and thought it was a clever product. I ordered it and it works great. I received a lot of candles for Christmas and this lighter is much easier and nicer to use than matches or those butane lighters. It comes in other colors and makes a nice gift for any candle lover. I charged it a couple days ago and o tried it just now and it’s still charged. I gave it a 4 because there’s a high pitch noise that it releases when in use and is pretty uncomfortable but if it’s on for a short period of time it’s not too bad. This lighter is so cool, it makes me feel fancy when I light candles. The battery life isn't the best but if you turn it off when not in use it could last for days. This is a must have for someone who loves burning candles. The only thing I wish it had is safety feature for those people that small children. It does have an on/off switch but I think a safety feature would be more beneficial. I plan on buying a few more for gifts to my gal-pals who also love candles as much as I go.
