Update: I was contacted quickly by the seller and they made it right by sending me a new lighter, which worked great. The replacement lighter filled easily with no leaks and performs as expected. Every company has a few bad items that make it to the customer, but not every company makes it right. KOLTEC made it right, and they are a standup company. This is a superb torch, and you can do a lot worse when choosing a full-size lighter. Use the adjustment carefully, as it is easy to overdo it. This lighter has some serious power. This lighter works great, when I can manage to partially refill it. The adapters that came with it form a sloppy fit, resulting in more butane venting out than going into the reservoir. Read more

UPDATE: Below was my original review of the product after receipt. Upon posting this review, KOLTEK customer service reached out to me and gave me a full refund immediately. I appreciate this level of customer service and would not hesitate to do business with them again. I upgraded my rating to a 3 star: 5 star for customer service, minus 2 for the initial product. This thing was great at first, and just what I needed for my outdoor work. I filled it the first time and everything was as advertised. However, when that first tank was done, I went to refill the torch and nothing. It would not hold gas. It was getting a little, as it would light for about 5 seconds, and then die. That tells me that something is leaking, likely the refill port. Don't waste your money on this torch...was a waste of money on this and then the can of butane that I drained trying to fill it the 2nd time. Read more
