It cushions the forefoot and protects from rapid movements. A one sided shoe tongue connects only the inside part of the shoe tongue preventing undesired movements and enhances the feeling of a perfect fit. B Ridge is a bridge shaped middle sole that supports sliding motion during footwork. These shoes are extremely popular with the pros, and you'll see them on a number of Butterfly-sponsored athletes, for example Timo Boll (black rifones) and Kanak Jha (blue rifones). I've only had my black Rifones pair for a few months, but they are clearly high-quality and should last for a while. The price tag is a bit punchy, but I love the look, fit, comfort, and support of these shoes. Read more

This Butterfly tt shoe though Very Expensive is by far the best all round table tennis shoe I’ve ever worn. I play and train 5 days a week for the United States Open and have 3 other pair. None can compare to the fit, wider toe bed for comfort and no rubbing, great heel fit and the perfect sole I’d expect from Butterfly.
