Truly a beautiful shirt for the following reasons: - the fabric feels/looks like 100% cotton (other reviews have had differing opinions) - the fabric is soft and drapes well - the shirt is true to size (I'm 5/3", 125#, 35.5" bust, usually wear a small and ordered a small in this shirt) - sizing is consistent! (I ordered this shirt in light pink, light blue, and white...they all fit the same) - they're high quality (good construction, seams are consistent and tight, great fabric, and two extra buttons are included) - I found the shirt to be very flattering (not boxy but not too snug) FYI...this shirt is described (in the title) as being "oxford", and the photos make it almost look like linen. IMHO, this shirt is NOT made from oxford cloth (oxford cloth has slightly textured/rough surface and you can see the weave pattern with your naked eye). This fabric is what I would call poplin...much smoother than oxford cloth. Lucky for me...I prefer poplin shirts because they're more easily dressed up and down (again, just my opinion...only mentioning it here in case you're looking for a "true" oxford cloth shirt). One feature that I especially appreciate is that there are two buttons on each cuff. Sleeves on this style of shirt are usually too long for me so I end up moving the button on the cuff over enough to make it fit snugly at the wrist and keep it from covering half of my hand all day. With this shirt, I simply buttoned the cuff to the tightest button and the sleeves hit just where I like them to. I machine washed this shirt on the delicate cycle in warm water then popped it in the dryer on "air dry" for about 10 minutes to help shake out some of the wrinkles and didn't notice any shrinkage. I still plan to iron it (I love the look of a crisp, collared shirt) but could easily wear it "as is" with jeans for a more casual look. Given everything I've shared about this shirt, if it sounds like what you're looking for, I highly recommend this item! Beautiful shirt! Outstanding color, quality fabric, and well made, not see through. I have trouble getting good fit w/ this style (short waist, lg breast) It’s either got to be tight across bust for proper size, or too big. Nice shirt and good price for an Oxford style. Had to give it a 4-star due to size. I'm 5' and weight 107. Bought an XS which is my normal but this shirt was too tight across the chest. Length and arm sizing were pretty good. Returning and ordering a Small. Will likely need to be shortened if it fits everywhere else but I like it enough to give it a try. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was in a hurry to find a dress shirt in this exact color for an event. I get too hot in polyester so I chose this one above some others that I was looking at because the description said it was 100% cotton (hard to find these days) and other reviewers said it breathed really well. Let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed!! There were a few times as we were walking through the event center that I felt a breeze and looked down in a panic thinking a button had popped open, but NO! It was just that the shirt really does breathe SUPER well! The fabric is soft and smooth, almost silky or buttery, and very comfortable. I should probably also mention that I think the fit is true to size. I usually wear an XL so I ordered an XL and it fit perfectly. It's got a longer tail so it's a great length if you want to wear more casual and hide your backside, but if that's not your style, it may be long enough to annoy you. The front would look cute tied, too. Tucked or untucked, I think it would be good for formal/business situations or just casual with jeans. I am not usually one to review clothes, but I had to come give this 5 Stars for any other girls who may struggle to find good button-down shirts. It's SO worth it! Read more
