I love this slow cooker! It Sears meat much better than a hot pot. Ive seared chicken thighs, pork and pot roast. It's the perfect size. It fits well on a counter and is easy to store away. The pans are heavy gauge like cast iron which I like for a Dutch oven. I have since bought the skillet and sauce pan too. It cooks so evenly. The seafood color is retro and so pretty. Only used it once so far, hence the 4 star rating, but with excellent results using the slow cook control. I need to try the other features before giving 5 stars. On Amazon’s website it indicated the pot could be used in the oven or microwave. The instructions that came with the pot indicate do not use in the oven or microwave. I’ve already returned this product. Read more
