Let me start by saying I adore this piece. ADORE. I love the quality, the soft material, and the awesome option to throw it into the washer/dryer with no worries (#WIN) However, the seller should DEFINITELY update the description. This is NOT A COAT if you live in an area that experiences extremely cold temperatures in the winter like me (I'm a nor'easter gal). Yet, I'm keeping my review at 5 stars because this is such a beautiful, sophisticated, and timeless piece for the Spring and Fall months. Truly! It doesn't pill, stays true to size even after it's washed, and is incredibly comfortable. For reference, I ordered a Small. I have an average athletic figure, I'm approximately 5'6", 135 pounds, wear a size 4 or 6 on average, with a 27" waist and a bra size of 36C. Size up! I bought an XL to make sure I had room for layers underneath and I’m glad I did. I don’t think I can fit a big sweater under this. The XL fits like a large. Amazing jacket for the price. I will def get my moneys worth. It’s a slim fit with a nice pocket detail. The zipper starts higher on your hip so that you can sit in the car etc without any movement problems. I bought this for spring but it is more of a fall weather jacket, fairly warm and heavy. Read more
I bought this for my Japan trip since I saw the weather was going to be between warm and really cold (March-April). I wore this almost every day! It is comfortable and allowed me to layer sweaters under if I needed to, but still felt true to size. The hem of it hit an inch or two above my knee. The fabric is nice and thick. I love the style of it and the angle of the pockets. I could wear it for falls in the Bay Area or PNW. The only thing I dislike, but also like (it’s weird), is that the zipper is not all the way to the bottom, but I also think it would look weird if it did extend all the way down. Ordered the coat in XL in Khaki. After reading other reviews I was prepared for the creases from the packaging. It was very wrinkled so I hung it up, but the wrinkles remained. I thought about taking it to the cleaners to see if they could steam out the wrinkles but thought I'd try to do it myself first. Using my steam iron set on the wool setting I ironed and steamed the coat very carefully. Fortunately it worked, the coat looks amazing and fits over my sweaters. The Khaki color isn't like the picture, it's more on the dark caramel shade, has a tinge of yellow to it. The coat fits like a dream so I'm keeping it. It's of medium weight so good for fall and spring weather. Fully lined and the quality is good; found a slight seam opening up but easy to fix. Over all I like it very much. Read more
I love a good dress coat. It looked great online but when I received it wasn't exactly what I imagined. I purchased the dark green, unfortunately, it looked like a weird take on a military coat. I will say, the coat was extremely warm and comfortable. I wore it in January in Ohio so it's not a bad option. Maybe in a different color it would look better but dark green is probably not the best move. Read more
