I use my wonderful red peshtemal for a rather unusual purpose. My Dearest Husband is a very warm sleeper. I, on the other hand, or foot as it is, get very cold when I sleep, especially my tootsey toes, footsies, and even lower legs. Having Reynaud's is the primary cause of my discomfort. I battled over extra bedding layers with my DH for years. He would typically toss all of his side of the upper bedding stack over on me. I get cold, but not that cold! So, peshtamal to the rescue. Ta DA! I use the lovely width of woven cotton fabric as a lightweight sheet-blanket. It is the perfect width, length, and weight, and my DH no longer tosses extra layers of bed linens on my side of the bed because they are not needed and no longer on the bed. When cold weather arrives, the peshtamal will be layered under a blanket to add the extra warmth my feet and legs with spastic circulation need to stay comfy. The peshtamal washes and dries perfectly: the colors never bleed, and it leaves no lint or strings behind. It would, I am sure, also serve as a lovely towel or wrap; but it serves me perfectly as my own personal skinny mini blanket. Read more
All of my bath towels are handmade from Turkey. This one is especially beautiful. Not only that, but the weave pattern of towel provides just enough nubbiness to really feel good. The size is wonderful, they are very absorbent, and dry quickly. Read more
I got one of the rainbow color. Nice, pretty, it has the correct knitted seams and not the folded over bull**** seam. Not as absorbent as the solid color towels of the same type. Not sure why that is. The sand just falls off like it should. Doubles as a throw or a winter scarf. I take them as a scarf/towel when traveling. Buy this Read more

I thought I would hate these, but I actually really, really like them. I thought because they are so thin that I would be freezing cold after my shower. In fact, they soak up the water on your skin so quickly I was shocked, and I didn't have time to feel cold. I use one to wrap around my body and one I have tied the short ends together so I can slip it over my shoulders and put my arms through the tied loops. Also, because they are thin, they stay wrapped around you and stay tucked much better. Thicker towels have the tendency to untuck on me and I am always adjusting them. These are great if you are on limited storage. I am not a 100% fan of the fringes (on anything, generally), but I couldn't find a set without them. You may have to get used to them for a bit because they do have a different feel than a plush towel. If you are someone who is jumping into the shower quickly to get to work on time, these do a wonderful job. They wash well and dry quickly. I have used them in my dryer on low and they dry in no time, and they have held up. If you're someone who is watching the dryer time for efficiency's sake, these are perfect, too. Read more
I have had this towel for a few years now. It dries SO fast on the clothes line or on the towel warmer, it dries ME nicely and gently, and it still looks as good as when I bought it. I take it camping and traveling with me. It folds down to nothing, and always dries quickly. I wash it with whatever laundry is being washed and it just keeps looking great. Read more
This is beautiful. Can be used for much more than a towel. Absorbs moisture well after a shower, and dries in no time. Love the print and love the fabric Good thickness. Not flimsy at all. Really does the job. Read more
