We have bought this vibe about 6 times over the last 11 years. We call it “the boyfriend” and it’s become a needed and necessary addition to love making for my wife. It is strong, and we have lost one or two over the years to slipping under water in pool lol, but we keep two in reserve in the drawer. Batteries last long, we have had current one for over 2 years with at least 4 uses + a week so 500 or more times. You know, I wanted to avoid writing this, because when it works, it’s a cool product. I bought this 5 times and every time it failed within a week or two. This company should not be selling defective items on Amazon, but they do anyway. Do Not buy this, you’ll be wasting money without a doubt. Known issues: Battery area: usually too tight for one of the two AA batteries. They get stuck commonly and cause failure. This is a huge production error. After initial use, Bullet begins to slow then stops until you can tap it against a hard surface only to feel it resume weakly….then stop for good. It looks like the cable is solid. It’s not…if it isn’t perfectly aligned correctly, the slightest tug and it’s over. The only way it works is by moving the cable to various spots until it fires again. Great concept. I am waiting on my third COLT Turbo bullet to arrive. I give this bad boy heavy usage, sometimes 3-6 times a day with either single play or for couple play. The bullet itself is insanely powerful and if the batteries are fresh I have to use on the lowest setting. Even though I always remove batteries from my toys I found this guy ate them up.prerrt quickly, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I invested in some rechargeable batteries. I have quite a collection of sex toys and the only toy I have that beats this in intensity is my hitachi but that toy is not convienent for discreet or frequent use. My first vibrator ever appears to have been similar to the Colt. It looked exactly the same but it had a purple remote and wasn't called the Colt (but still from California Exotics). I loved that thing. It was simple, had two speeds that actually seemed like different speeds, and worked wonderfully. It worked great for about three years, two of those with frequent use, until it finally puttered out last year. I couldn't find my beloved vibrator and ultimately, after some trial and error, replaced it with a different CalExotics bullet that was functionally the same, yet cheaper quality, and mourned for my purple vibrator. When the replacement died after only a year, I once again went on a hunt for a replacement. I found this little guy, reminiscent in all the right ways of my purple vibrator. I wanted to adore this thing, but it's not my purple vibrator. The bullet portion feels cheaper than even the other bullet vibrator I used for a year. It says it has two speeds, but the speeds really aren't that noticeably different (and yes, I tried with fresh batteries). I do like how it feels in the hand and that it has a switch instead of a dial. I also love that it uses AA instead of AAA (I will no longer buy vibrators with AAA). I use rechargable batteries, so I don't worry about how many batteries my vibrator will go through, so I can't comment on that component. It's a solid vibrator, not as awesome as my purple one, but then again I might never find its equal. Also IT RATTLES. I love this, perfect for insertion because the cord is more securely attached to the cord than in many similar bullets. Very sturdy, and does not wear down batteries quickly. There's two AA batteries, which gives you a pretty good indication of the strength. It has two speeds. Pressing the button turns it to the first speed, and then pressing the same button again takes it to the second, and then once more to turn it off. That hasn't really been an inconvenience though. Just saying it is strong though is a very vague measurement, so here is a list in strength order (strongest on top) of the items that I have tried from Amazon. You can see my other reviews for more details. If there are multiple settings, this is comparing the strongest settings.
