lightweight wide leg cargo pant runs big

Nice casual pant with big cargo pockets and lightweight fabric. I followed the size chart (30" waist) and ordered size M but it was so loose it would fall down over my hips if the drawstring waist were not cinched--but doing so creates the appearance of bulges where women don't have them (another reviewer noted this too), so I returned the pant. I was looking for something that would sit & stay at the hips without the belt business. I would try a size small but the length was borderline too short on the M. Read more

Good Cargos

I just got passed buying 8 different cargos on Amazon, all sayin they were midrise cut. These were the ONLY pair that were indeed midrise. So, NO MUFFIN TOP. And let's just face it, cargos look best with they "hip hang." These DO. I am about 40" at my hips. Avg side butt. The M fit perfectly. There is a significant jump from the M to the L. I am also only 5'-1". These are meant for an avg height, but with the drawstrings - they work. Waist is very comfortable, just a simple drawstring. The green is true cargo green. Fabric (which I am a snot about) is for sure cotton. Fairly light weight, breathable. They washed well, shrink a tad, not much. These would NOT work for a cold day hike. My only unmet desire.. which they were cheaper! LOL. Read more

Cute, runs a little small

I got these based on the size chart, which is close but they still are a little small. They do fit, just more snuggly than I thought. But they are super cute pants, very 90s throwback. I love the color and most importantly for me, they are long enough! I'm tall and have a hard time finding pants that aren't too short. Major bonus here. Read more

functional cargo pants ever!

They're so cute on! I received so many compliments with them on. I paired them with a cropped tee. I can adjust the bottom opening as wide leg or jogger style as I want:) also the length is perfect!! There's no stretch but they do loosen up. I highly recommend these! Read more

no elastic in waist,

Primary complaint - cheep, poor construction - after washing them once & trying them on the seam under the zipper area is coming undone. I can sew, so i can fix it, but i cannot believe at this price point that they're falling apart before having ever been worn. Continuing the theme of cheep construction, there is no elastic in the waist of these - just a draw string, so if they're any too big it does this unfortunate ...bunching. It can be shuffled around to the sides/back, but still is overall a bit unfortunate. for context, i usually wear a size six, & ordered a medium. I feel like a small would have still been too big. I'll probably end up feeding some elastic through the draw-string hole & sewing it in in an effort to salvage these, but i definitely feel like they could have been made better designed for the price tag. i will say the fabric seems okay quality, it just seems a shame it was made into such unfortunate pants. Lightweight parachute pants

I got the Cali1850 Women’s Parachute Cargo Pants – Low Rise Baggy Fit Wide Leg Multi Pockets Casual Streetwear Trousers in Olive, X-Large. Based on the size chart, a large should be big enough. However, I've had other Cali1850 clothes fit small and thus ordered the XL. The legs fit perfectly, but these pants are a little tight through the hips. These parachute pants are very low rise, as shown in the pictures. The legs were longer on me than I expected. I do like that there are drawstrings to adjust the leg openings; however, I ended up having to cut some of the string length so that I didn't tread on them and trip while walking. I like that the fabric is all cotton, which is cool and comfortable. I dislike how thin the fabric is. I can't see these pants lasting very long. The y2k style is cute, but I wish the size chart were more accurate and the fabric nicer. These seem overpriced for the quality. Read more

Comfortable fit

In the picture the pants seemed as if they were heavier with a more sturdy quality to them. They are lightweight but yet they are not. They are not as sturdy/stiff as they looked but still great. The sizing is perfect and fit as expected they would. Love the pockets and feel of the material, something that can be worn all day. Read more

Comfy with lots of pocket.

The media could not be loaded. I love pockets. As in New Yorker traveling the subways, button-up pockets are so convenient when you're out participating in recreational activities and how to commute around while enjoying yourself. Keys wallet phone, with these pants you don't need a purse. These pants are very comfortable and I'm wearing an extra large. But I could have went a size down if I wanted a tighter fit which I didn't. I would say they're true to size. They're not meant to be tight really. But you could go that route and you would be just fine. I actually like to wear cargo pants a little tighter sometimes but most of the time this is the fit I prefer. See video for a more detail look at how these pants fit on my body type. Read more
