I wanted a fluffier and darker pet bed for my two cats (both grey and black) and something that could get moved to my bed or couch for quality time (they like to sleep near me). This is big enough for both to curl up with one another and comfy if I ever touch it, very soft. They love to make biscuits in it. Has a good amount of stuffing and is not flat. Bonus that the shiba in our home also loved it and often stole it away from them, good size for a small breed as well. All get a good, healthy, rest. I had to buy a second round because my two cats would consistently try to use this round at the same time. I’ve had this one for 11 months, and it has held up very well so far. I have spot cleaned with towels and water but have no idea if it would hold up to going in a washer and dryer. If the cats dig into it with claws enough, there is some minimal shedding, but I would expect nothing less. It’s very soft, but depending on what fabric I’m wearing, it sometimes transfers fuzzies onto my clothes. My 14-15lb boy (see pics) fits pretty perfectly into the small size. I have considered upsizing to see if a larger one would be big enough for both cats to use together. As you may have noticed in one of the pictures, this guy prefers to use the round upside down and curl up on the black non-skid bottom instead of the plush pillow center (which is the same color as the plush ring around the non-skid bottom). Why, I couldn’t begin to tell you, but he’ll knock the round onto the floor and flip it over himself if I dare to turn it right side up. Fortunately, the non-skid does have that nice ring of plush fabric around it so he seems to remain quite comfortable. Unfortunately, I cannot say if the non-skid is at all effective for its intended purpose as it is never used as intended in my house. All in all, we seem to be very happy with my purchase even if someone failed to read the instructions for how to use it. Read more
