Best Treat Dispensing Toy!! Rugged, durable and great fun!!!

This is a "must have" toy to entertain and challenge your dog. The unexpected bonus was discovering how much fun it is to watch our Sheltie puppydog play rugby for his favorite treat: Carrots. Sweet, crunchy, healthy and low-calorie, carrots can be sliced in different sizes and they don't cause a mess. The secret to keeping Vinny interested, is to fill the football with some chunks that fall out easily and some chunks sliced so they will fall out only when the carrot hits the hole in the right direction. Also, you can hear when the football is empty. Occasionally, the football goes into the dishwasher for a cleanup. I bought the large size. It is best and cheap to buy a bunch of carrots. I have not found cookies that do not come out too easily. My dog can empty the toy too fast.

The goal was to entertain him long enough to calm him down when I leave him home alone. However, he quickly figured out how to roll the toy to empty it in a couple of minutes. This toy is, therefore, pretty useless. Read more
