I bought this for my 10 lb. Shih-Tzu. I did wait the two days like it recommends the purchaser to allow the smell to disappear. My little Shih-Tzu loves this bed, she sleeps in it and seems to be nice and comfy. I have had to wash it one time so far. It washed good, no problems. I had it dried in the local wash and dry location along in the dryer with my other clothes for about 15 minutes and took it out lightly damp. It finished drying itself in about 4 hours. The media could not be loaded. This bed is amazing! Of course, now, I'm chopped liver to my puppy. He likes the bed more than he likes to snuggle with me... lol. He absolutely loves this bed. He tries to get into his playpen to lie in it when it's in there. Last night was his second night with us. The first night, we hadn't received the bed, yet. He cried for about 5 minutes. Last night, his second night with us, and first night with this bed he couldn't wait to get in his playpen to go to bed! He never once made a peep!! We even came in and out of the room several times, which would wake him up. I would reach down and pet him every time. He was so content with his bed! Never cried at all!!
