Right out of the box, it feels solid—lightweight enough for travel but sturdy enough to handle heavier DSLR setups without wobbling. The aluminum build strikes a great balance between durability and portability. Adjustability is excellent. The leg locks are smooth and secure, and the multi-angle leg positions make shooting on uneven terrain surprisingly easy. The fluid head movement is impressive for a tripod in this price range, allowing for clean pans and tilt shots. Whether you’re shooting landscapes, portraits, or video, it feels stable and dependable. Setup and breakdown are fast thanks to its intuitive design, and the included carrying case makes it convenient to bring along on shoots. If you’re looking for a tripod that feels professional but doesn’t break the bank, this one is a standout. Highly recommended for photographers and videographers at any level. Read more

This is a great tripod for the price, and now that I've used it in a variety of situations I wanted to leave a review that I wish was there before I bought the product. First off, plan on replacing the tripod head with a different attachment as the head is bulky, cheap and hard to adjust. I replaced it with an affordable ball head and it works much better. The ultra lightweight nature of this tripod will come with a sacrifice of stability, which is why the hook for adding weight is so important. My 75L osprey pack fits hanging on the tripod with the legs extended and adds a good amount of weight for stability during night sky photography and other pictures that require a solid base for clear shots. When weight is added this tripod becomes very stable. Try not to use the crank mechanism to raise the tripod head as it's just plastic and wobbles a bit when extended. However, the legs when fully adjusted leaves the camera taller than I am (I'm 5'6") so it's easy to avoid using this feature. For backpacking this is a perfect tripod. I usually will bring a foam sleeping pad with me and this tripod is easy to roll up into my foam pad and attack to my pack at the bottom. I'm not sure exactly how heavy this tripod is but I'd estimate it's between 2-5lbs. When I don't have my pack on me (backpacking) I usually will use my Nalgene to add weight but this isn't enough weight to add as much stability as ideal. Don't get me wrong though it is stable enough to for most shots you'd want. If you are not planning to use it for purposes where you'd need to worry about weight this is not the tripod for you. Get a heavier tripod where you don't have to worry about stability as much. Read more

I’ve been using the CAMBOFOTO 74” Professional Aluminum Tripod for a few weeks now, and it’s exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is solid and sturdy—definitely feels like a professional-grade tripod. The aluminum construction is lightweight yet strong enough to support my DSLR, mirrorless camera, and even my smartphone with no issues. The 360-degree adjustable head is smooth and easy to control, which makes framing shots a breeze, especially for time-lapse or panoramic photography. The adjustable legs and center column give me a ton of flexibility with height and angle, and it extends impressively tall at 74 inches. The included phone holder is a great touch, and the carrying bag makes travel and storage super convenient. Whether you’re into photography, videography, or content creation with a GoPro or phone, this tripod is a fantastic investment. Highly recommend it for both beginners and pros looking for quality on a budget! Read more

Its a good all around tripod, it has a level, a padded surface for carrying, 2 quick release mounts, its pretty lightweight, it feels quality, but, its a bit shaky even when not extended all the way which is really hurtful when trying to do long exposures or stacked shots, theres no pivots on the head so you have to adjust the legs individually to get what you want which can be annoying and time consuming, and also takes away from the height, thought this tripod does reach very high, double the length that came w my camera. I think this tripod is worth the money, but if you can, save up for a more sturdy tripod with the ability to adjust each axis at the head. Read more
