I really like it... and it just made it to my top desk phone stand list. I have three I really like and this is now one of them. I was unsure about the feet... since the other two on my top 3 list are having a round base and a square base... they are very sturdy... and this one with the 3 prong feet I was unsure if it would not work as well... but I am more than surprised. The grip is very good and it can get almost as tall as one of my others. So it certainly does a great job with its ability to be stable and angled however. The magnet is very strong. It stays in place after adjustment even with my heaviest phone. Very lightweight and easy to use. Overall great value phone stand and I can recommend it to others. Read more

The machining of its all-metal frame is perfect, and all the joints move smoothly. I’m impressed with how compact it gets! It easily fits in my pants pocket while hiking or when I’m actively using it elsewhere. The magsafe ring is perfect with my iPhone. It grips strong but not super strong, so I don’t have to struggle to get it off. Note: normal tripods are very stable because only the leg tips touch the ground, so it doesn’t matter how rough the surface is. With this tripod the legs fan out like chicken toes. Yes there are 3 legs, but they all lie flat on the ground. So this tripod is perfectly stable on flat surfaces, but it fails and gets very tippy on uneven surfaces. On a recent hike I had to rest it on my backpack because the rock ledge I was on was too uneven. 🟢 PROS: * very compact * expands to be quite tall * good magsafe mount * includes a sticker magnet ring for people who don’t have iPhones (12 and newer) or magsafe cases * lots of standard 1/4" tripod mounting points 🔴 CONS: * legs are flat — can’t use on rocks * no carry sack — so it gets scratched when I toss it in my hiking bag and I can’t keep it in the same pocket as my cell phone because I don’t want it to scratch my screen Earns 4 stars because it’s a beautifully manufactured mini tripod that has a great magsafe ring and folds up tiny. I’ve been using this MagSafe stand for a little while now and I’m honestly impressed with how well it works. The magnet is strong enough to keep my iPhone 17 Pro Max in place without slipping, even when I move the stand around or tilt the phone. It feels like the right balance of strength and convenience, where you can just snap the phone on and it stays put. I’ve also used it will a MagSafe LED camera fill light which has been great for taking product photos. The aluminum build really surprised me. It feels solid in a way that most small phone stands don’t. It has a nice weight to it and folds up easily so I can toss it in my bag or pocket. I’ve used it on my desk, in the kitchen, and even outside when I was checking camera angles for a project. It holds steady on all surfaces and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The size is the only thing I’d change. It works great for everyday use, but I keep wishing they made a larger version. Something with a bigger footprint or taller adjustments would make it even more versatile for shooting video or using it as a mini tripod. For what it is though, it’s been great. It’s well-designed and well-built of solid aluminum with black anodization. It folds into a compact configuration, wasting no space in a camera bag. There are thoughtful considerations like lugs on the legs that fit into slots on the main body when they’re collapsed. This keeps the main body from twisting out of shape when clamped in a dovetail mount. The hinges are smooth and have stayed tight as I’ve tested it. It comes with hex keys to tighten the hinge screws if they come loose. It also comes with two steel rings with adhesive for adding MagSafe support to objects that aren’t designed for MagSafe.
