My nine-year-old granddaughter squealed with delight when she opened this camera up for Christmas! It is her first camera. It comes fully equipped with cables, an extra battery and ready to use right away. This is a great camera for beginners. Her mother is a professional photographer, and this camera will help teach her how to take the perfect picture. It is nice and compact and has a nice design. I was worried that the quality would be low because it kinda looked bad on the camera screen. But when I uploaded it onto my computer, which was very easy, the pictures turned out great! The video too! The audio quality is only okay, but I bought the camera for the pictures! Which I am very satisfied with. It lives up to its promise. The photos are surprisingly clear, and I don't have to worry about her fiddling with complicated settings. It just… works! She's already got a portfolio of our dog napping and about a hundred selfies from her party. It's petite and lightweight, perfect for her little hands (and my purse when she inevitably hands it to me to carry). It comes with two large-capacity batteries. We charged them once, and she's been snapping away without them dying. No worries about mid-adventure meltdowns because her camera ran out of juice! My niece figured out how to use the camera in minutes because the buttons are big and intuitive, and the menu is super simple. She popped in the SD card and battery, and boom – instant photographer. It’s been so fun watching her experiment and capture all her fun memories with us. While it’s great for just point-and-shoot, she's already discovered zoom (our poor Shih Tzu is now a supermodel) and is having a blast with the creative filter effects. My daughter wanted a camera to take to overnight camp and I didn't particularly want to give her anything too valuable (it's way too easy for things to be lost or stolen). She found this camera after doing some research and I agreed to buy it for her. Is it a great camera? Nope, not even close. Did it get the job done? Absolutely. It took decent photos (much better during daylight hours than at night/in dim light but no one is going to confuse you for Ansel Adams with this) and was very easy to use. I would not recommend this for someone who is concerned about having the best quality photos but for a cheap throwaway camera that you don't have to worry about losing, it's perfect. Read more

This is a fun little, light weight, camera. Battery life is decent and it comes with a charging cord and a small sd card. It is a great camera for someone wanting something super easy to use. The zoom is good. Screen quality is a bit grainy. Remember that you get what you pay for. We were looking for something that could be thrown in a duffle bag and used for fun pictures with friends.
