Overall, I like this light but wanted to make potential buyers aware of a couple of problems. First, the white glass pieces are fragile and I had a broken piece in my original order and replacement as well! Second, as others had mentioned, the bulbs are a pain to insert once the glass pieces are in place because you cannot hold the bulbs properly anymore (whereas they snap in in a second without the glass pieces on). Since you need to apply pressure to the bulbs to turn them and make them go into the socket it may be an impossible task once the light is mounted to a ceiling or wall. Finally, while I liked the fact that the lamp can be installed right on to the junction box (gives a clean snug fit) it is missing the two screws needed to connect the supplied metal plate to the junction box. I needed to replace the old fixture above my kitchen sink/counter space and this fixture fills that bill. The finish and looks is modern and it was simple to install, the large base completely covers the old fixture's outline and the directed light output really work well as task lighting. Would NOT recommend. The 1st one was missing the nuts to secure the light and it was well past 30 days so I ordered a second. Although the description may have said Bulb Not Included somewhere.... ITS RIDICUOLUS for them to not include a specialty type bulb.. TOTAL WASTE IF MONEY FOR A CRAPPY FUXTURE. Read more

Nice light fixture, using it for a walk-in closet. You can aim the light just about anywhere. Bulbs are a hassle to change, but if you put the bulb AND the shade in at the same time, you can push the bulb through the shade, install the bulb and then screw in the shade afterwards. Works like a charm and made life simpler once I discovered that trick. It's very attractive and does a great job of lighting the closet evenly. Read more
